We all forget some rules when warhammering the opponent, but what rule is the one you always forget to use? Of course there is rules that are you don't understand or know always, but is there some rules you know that won't come in to play because you didnt remember?

Mine has to be grenades againts vehicles, all my chaos marines have krak and i dont remember it!

Not sure if this belongs in this thread but...

I tend to forget single character shooting phase abilities, like Imotekh's lightning or master of ordnance, as you don't always see the character in your units and tend to miss the chance to use them.

Also about your message, some armies depends on anti-tank so I don't know how you can forget it.

I'm still quite new to the game so i barely know how to use grenades at all :S

My number one thing i forget isn't so much a rule i surpose but a guideline, i always forget to roll tests...especially if my army drops 25% or more.

Being Eldar I am very good at remembering to use my psychic powers at the beginning of the turn. No, that's a complete lie.

Pretty much this, although i'm becoming better at it.

I'm also amazing at remembering units that are crucial to my battleplan working. That is, remembering that I forgot about them. I spend all game leading up to it and pow! "Okay, your turn...Ah !"

Haha, I used all krak grenades on a rhino even if my sarge had a PF, forgetting that tau plasma guns dont get hot, forgetting to reroll failed LC and digital weapon attacks (happend alot before but some players are kind enough to tell me that i could reroll).

I forget Lucius' Lash of Torment and his Armour of Shrieking Souls rules all the time.

I always also forget that I can run my Raptors once they have deepstriked in. So many times I forget this only to have them wiped out by Plasma Cannons.

Also Synapse test on the Doom of Mal'antai and to use psychic powers in general.

I always remember to use Lash of Submission though.

I'm not very good at this game all in all

Me and my compatriots tend to forget unit coherancy(or we just dont care, cant remember which)
I also forget fighting for my IC, and the psychic hood, And sometimes if forget to use my force weapon.
Sometimes i forget my drop pod is coming up on the first turn.
And i completely forget the rules for rapid fire weapons and heavy(as in i move and then realize i cant fire :( )

Running away tests after being shot at, pinning, night fight when I cause it, etc.

I remember most rules, but there is one that I constantly forget (And I mean constantly, I have remembered it maybe one game). Wraithsight on Wraithlords. The worst thing is that this rule is bad for me, and still I forget to make the Wraithsight roll.

I always forge to smoke vehicles. Not a rule but still something I forget almost every game till something blows up.

I always forget to roll for The Red Thirst for my units.

Luckily it is not optional and I usually remember after the first turn or just before my boys get into combat and roll then.

We always forget Night Fighting rules whenever we roll up a Dawn of War game.

Every. Single. Time.

By turn 2 or 3 someone will remember "Oh we didn't roll for Nightfighting on turn 1!"

hahaha, with my daemons i always forget all there nifty little special rules always lol, i'm hopeless.

dark eldar - always forgetting combat drugs

chaos marines - ....i'm okay lol they don't do anything special anyway, they just look cool nd pimp about in their rhino-mobile. Try to pick up some DE chicks, maybe get in with the slaaneshi's if there around, moon the sorroritas and generally end up crashign into a tree or a building somewhere on the battlefeild.

As IG, I always forget you have to roll orders first, so I get overexcited, fire, then realize I can't issue orders now.

Wound allocation, half the time I still play it by 4th edition rules.

Every IG player I've ever played against always forgets to do the orders until after they've fired with 2-3 of their units. Every single one...

Though I have forgotten my fair share of Don't Press Dat! tests

Almost EVERY time I forget red thirst rolls! And it benefits my army! I have taken to writing down on my army list which units have red thirst and a big sign saying ROLL FOR RED THIRST DAMN IT!!

I always forget all sorts of little special rules for characters. Like Snikrot's panic rule that makes every enemy unit lose leadership, or that ghazzy has a big shoota.

I frequently forget to shoot my drop pods.

Rolling for Faith Points.

I always forget about reserve units. Out of sight, out of mind I guess. Last game I played I used a unit of summoned daemons. I had started moving a few of my guys when i remembered I didn't roll for them. Luckily my we're pretty lax with it so he let me roll for them. They ended up coming in and getting me a kill point that turn.

I also always forget havoc launchers are twin-linked.

I find that the rule that most people forget, most frequently, is that the #1 rule is to have fun.

I don't really have deployment getting in and out of transports down pat so I normally avoid adding Devilfish in my lists.

That and the fact that the Devilfish is utter garbage.

I forget my Farseer has psychic powers too often to even warrant including one.

I forget Exarch powers.
I forget Swooping Hawks have a grenade pack.
I forget Banshee special rules.
I forget Scorpions can't fleet.

... I forget how to win.

I forget that my Gargoyles are jump infantry and spent three turns walking them up the board. At the end...after I'd lost...he said, 'why were you being so sneaky with those, I would have moved them in much sooner and wiped me out!?'

Doh!

Roll for reserves (every...single...game!)
Roll for leadership before using counter attack.

I constantly forget to have my opponent take pinning Ld checks. I think in umpteen battles, I've remembered about 4 times (and I use sniper scouts and pop transports all the time)... sigh.

I always forget to use my Raiders Shock Prows when i equip them >_<
