For those who want something a bit more hi tech than a solid wall (though there is a solid wall options)

Burn In Design has a laser defense wall system perfect for 28-32mm games

We are being overrun! Get behind the barricades and be read to return fire!

Defensive walls and barricades are a staple of tabletop war games. If you are going to go into a shooting situation you need something to hide behind for cover. Sure there is the standard 'jersey barrier' but they just don't look right on a sci-fi table. This is something a little different. Laser Defense Walls. The kits shown here is the 3 inch version with the acrylic inserts. There is also a 6 inch version. Both have an option for solid walls to replace the acrylic laser ones. The units are are designed with a slight angle at the back allowing them to be places in a circular pattern. The 3" version makes a 26" circle and the 6" makes one quite a bit larger.

To order a set email us at BURNINDESIGNS@GMAIL.COM or to find out more and stay on top of our new releases please "like" us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BurnInDesigns.

I've just asked them for a shipping quote, I know those barricades will please my friend who plays Tau, and would love to have an aegis line.

Love the Rock Ridge name and song reference. Blazing Saddles is one of the greatest films ever made!
Also, love those walls. Might have to invest in some.

Those defense walls are sweet. Might have to treat myself to a set, after the holidays.

I just got my order in tonight. The Rock Ridge set is excellent value for the money.

The laser defence walls are gorgeous. I got myself a kit for my own Tau, and I'll take pictures once a segment is built/painted. Overall very, very satisfied with the whole experience.

Waiting on mine...went with the green force fields, no solid add-ons. What did you get Mathieu?

I got the orange force fields for both, so my friend and I can field them together when we combine our forces.

By the way, has anyone ever noticed how Tau are exceptionally well made to take out... other Tau? Scary.

The Rock Ridge set is coming together real quick. I stick a few pieces every 30 minutes or so, and they are beautiful. A bit big for W40K, but it'll make moving figs around easier and will also fit those bigger 30mm bases. You get a b-load of signs with each building, so you can purchase other companies' stuff and not worry about that.

Weird tidbit, though, the Rock Ridge Bank has a 6 pointed star... which isn't something I'd have expected for that time period.

Man I will buying some of those tomorrow! You just made my space ship campaign terrain much more manageable.

Okay that's a bit more modern, but there's plenty of other six-pointed (and five, or seven pointed) sheriff's stars to be found in the US and lots of those will date back to that era.

Most folk might never even have know of any possible association with Judaism, I believe.

when you get them, can we see a side by side comparison to actual aegis lines?

I want to see just how close they are - while I think they look great, I just want to see how they compare (if too different some people may have issues with them).

thanks!

Those are extremely impressive. I'll probably end up getting some for Dreadball decoration and Sedition wars, but really just to have them.

I haven't seen one, but does anyone know if he produces a "bridge main screen" or "Hoth command bunker" set of laser cut holoscreens? I mean, something that looks like a computer with a hologram interface...because that would rock.

The really awesome thing about these compared to other wall section products is that they look fantastic without having to put much effort into painting them, since the bulk of them is already finished in colour and looking great.

Perfect "lazy man's terrain" product!

Was looking at the "The Bunker"; isn't the Imperial Aquila copyrighted?

EDIT: Yep, my Codices say they are.
