Hrm, good paint job. But for some reason the reflective stuff doesnt seem to work well on this guy, cant put my figure on it sorry, just not a fan.

I really don't care for the NMM effect. There's too much of it and the figure seems to be mostly blue, I didn't realise at first that it was supposed to be a reflective surface. There's obviously skill involved in painting this but the end result is something that looks decidedly odd.

I actually really like the NMM effect, the horizon line is very well judged and the blending is superb!
I must say the sword looks a bit drab & unfinished in comparison to the quality of the rest of the mini, though it's still far far better than I could do. Good luck with the auction!

Maybe dirty up the boots a little. Space marines don't really have time for the turtle wax with the whole endless war thing. I don't think the problem is in the paintjob, but rather the fluff paradox it presents. Still, I would love to see a squad of Grey Knights like this.

I have to say that I'm not sold on the armour NMM at all, and I don't really like the concept of chrome marines.

That said, everything else seems pretty good; the storm bolter's effect is a little better and the other colours are well done, although I can't really get my head around the cloak; it doesn't look like it's purple-lined inside (which I assume was the intention), it just looks more like it's a reversible cloak.
