The 11th Company GT will be back for year number 3!
We're still undecided on some key format issues, but we got a lot of time to hammer it all out. Here's the specs right now:

I have updated a lot of the information on our forums including Format, 17 prize categories, Battle Points and Win/Loss explanations, Tentative Schedule and more. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, we have currently sold 25% of our slots. Still many months to go, and from previous years, that's a good number to be at so early.

I think that is Neil's decision, not Allan's.
From his thread on the 11th Co Forum:
Forgeworld
I have had a few questions about Forgeworld this year. The long and short is, Forgeworld will not be allowed in a completely unrestricted way at this time. We have yet to decide how we will restrict Forgeworld ranging from a points limit, possible ban list, 0-1 restriction, or possibly a full restriction.
The reality of Forgeworld is we as tournament organizers get stuck between a rock and a hard place. We strongly want our participants to be able to field their fun, versatile FW units, but at the same time, we don't want to ruin the competitive environment or fun factor for the rest of the tournament by allowing more competitive players to pack in the myriad under-costed/over-powered FW units that then become available.
I will keep you posted as we move forward with these decisions.

Still deciding on Round Times. Biggest issue with Round Times is needing to complete 7 rounds in 2 days. Makes for a tight schedule. Right now, I am able to work 2.5 hours, which for me @ 2K (which is what all our local RTTs are) have been no more problem finishing games than 1850. Would love to make them 2.75 rounds, but it's tough on the schedule. Still thinking about it.
As to FW, still very undecided. I'm still in the camp at the moment that happy middle ground is probably the best bet because that won't make anyone who is politically involved in any kind of FW movement happy, which is generally the best form of compromise.
Lots of examples of that from the UK which have lots of varying FW rules. Everything from full allowance to no allowance and the inbetweens look like 0-1 restrictions or a total points restriction, like no more than 300 points or something like that.
From feedback I got from asking, the results prove exactly what I already know...
That most people don't give a damn about FW, pro or con and that it is only a small vocal minority on both sides that make any noise about it at all.

Just to caution you on that, most people probably haven't formed a strong opinion one way or the other because the vast majority of players have little or no experience playing with/against FW units.

I agree with this 1000% Also adding fw dramatically changes how the nova meta works. I think allowing fw would cause more harm then good, just my two cents.

Agree with Danny. Running into douched up FW armies makes for no fun. It was no fun playing against 12 tudd gun templates a turn at Adepticon, and it didn't seem like you had a lot of fun making me take all my models off the board, Neil (though in your defence you were just placing the templates down, it was your team-mate who was rolling all the dice).

Haha, well played. Blame the guy rolling the dice. I agree that I'd prefer to play without Forge World. It seems like a good idea, but for whatever reason the only FW units I ever see are the obviously broken ones. This probably isn't the best place to rehash all that nonsense again tho.
However, on the issue of Thudd Guns, it's kind of a moot point as they're now a part of C:SM (Thunderfire Cannons). :/ Hopefully, the people using them at least understand the complexities of resolving multiple multiple-barrage weapons quickly and without argument.

Any updates on round times, fw, etc.? Starting to get close, only a month away.
Personally, I'd like to see 2.75hr rounds. As long as it doesn't cut into my lunch/break time.  Finishing games is worth waking up early for.

Sorry, yes. I'm not a frequent Dakka'ite so don't get back around to these posts much.
As to previous conversations:
We have sold 68 tickets to date with 2 weeks to go. That makes us the largest traditional event in the Southeast and now poised to be one of if not the largest non-convention style 40K event in the country which is pretty darn cool!
Round Time is now 2.75 hours.
We aren't allowing FW as (vast) majority of participants decided some time ago they didn't want it.
We're up to about $1000 in prize support from 15 or so sponsors which is awesome.
You can use the link above to keep track of changes as they happen. I generally keep info up to date on our forums.
