Those kits are just jaw-droppingly gorgeous. But the price is just too high for me, even though I think it's fair for the quality of the kit. Also the early bird special doesn't offer much savings. Best of luck to you though!

Amazing terrian.
Hard to understand what comes in each pledge level....
What the heck is a "Set 11 Level 2"? Why does "Set 6 Level 1" early bird coast more?

I was just going to point this out. I am scratching my head trying to understand whats going on.
I do love the product however, I intend to back this one.

I started figureing it out abit better.
The Walkways are broken down into mutiple "sets", with each set broken down into a "level" bundle. Their is no way to mix and match the bundles you would want. you other choose the single bundle/level you want, or nab a whole set and all of it's level/bundles.
Add ons are not a option.
This kickstarter would of worker alot better if you pledged for a number of bundles, and then got to choose witch bundles you wanted out of the number you pledged for. Not to mention modular terrian like this would of been the perfect thing to offer "add ons" for. Like maby a set of " FPS chest high boxs" you could scatter around or use as objectives.
As it stands, this kickstarter is abit to confusing for it's own good. lol For a modular product, you'd almost expect modular priceing.
Best of luck thow! Jaw dropping stuff you got! If I still had a necromunda group this would be very tempting.

youve cracked it
there are 8 sets with 2 levels each
you can mix & match them as there are no restrictions on the pledges
yep im currently waiting on some crate & barricades coming back from the prototypes
would it be made simpler if i move the coloured map up the running order to help people out..?

This is absolutely fantastic terrain, not just for the modular ability, but I'm also a big fan of some of the little details- like the balcony ends. I feel like a good deal of thought has gone into this project. However I think the naming of the pieces and bundle options are slightly confusing. But once I work out what I want, I'll probably pledge. Set 1 looks enticing, but is a bit of a stretch at my budget and I came for towers anyway!
Edit pledged for set 8 lv2 ..

There's a lot of interest around the place for stuff like this.
Necromunda (get it while it's in stock... ) is also looking popular at my club, and this stuff just smacks of uses for that. With Deadzone coming out, that's just going to get better.

I think the biggest question I have, is if I pledge on a level 2, does that include the level 1 stuff? Is level 2 useable without the level 1? How do I get exactly the walkways set you played with in the video, they looked great.

Looks like you can get a cutter for 3,000USD (after about 30 seconds of googling, I've no idea of that's a good model or crap.) That's cheap enough to take a risk on. Heck, if I hadn't bought a house that needs 30 years of repairs I'd be thinking seriously about getting one myself just for fun.

This stuff looks neat, but how much space does it cover? It looks like it'd be around $240US for the cheapest 'Space Hulk' set, or roughly $280 for the map from the first mission. Very cool stuff, but probably more than I'd want to spend for a table. The walkways might be more attractive, but it's hard to know without dimensions.
It's also a bit hard to get the prices for things. It's doable, but a bit of a headache.

hi all
on the Corridors & Room size
there all based on a 30mm sq system, so for a 3 sq straight corridor it is 90mm x 90mm x 60mm tall (with base it stands 64mm tall)
if you look in the video set 1 covers a good 2/5ths of my dinning table & thats only got 20 pieces to it .the full set will fit a 6x4 board especially mission of space hulk mkIII

Incredible work here! Those walkways are just stunning to look at, crammed with detail and all the different angles seem to blend really well together. The corridors are also perhaps the absolute best I have seen to date. Finally someone listened to my cries and detailed the outside of the walls! Pledges are extremely confusing however and would have benefited from getting rid of half of them especially when the kickstarter layout has jumbled everything in the way that it did. I would suggest you rearrange the graphics and build some much clearer sets because at the moment it take quite a bit of effort to figure out what comes in each pledge, I should not have to use the find function on the laptop to figure out what say, set 64 level 18.6 was on the page. Bughunt Corridors was another MDF ks that was very successful so I would take inspiration from them, specifically in the fewer pledge levels and the nice add on image that he posted. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1812955737/bug-hunt-corridors Good luck in the campaign, I absolutely adore both kits as they just scream brilliant engineering and the video with you building the walkways is great, the click those magnets make is wonderful!

I think this kickstarter could take inspiration from the pledge levels in bughunt corridors.
Where this kickstarter seems to offer a grand view of what could be constructed, and then split it up into pledges, bughunt said you can have x pieces for y dollars, and for each pledge level had an individual build showcasing what cool standalone setups can be built with that pledge level.
Makes things far less confusing.

Hi Rockgod, I think the terrain is amazing, probably the best laser cut out there at the moment. Your set system is really confusing and not user friendly - I am sure you know exactly how it all works but for a new person looking in it is not easy to see what you are getting and what you can do with it. On top of that I do think it is quite expensive to get a playable sized board. I do wish you all the luck as I might win the lottery this Saturday !

Maybe having a demostration layout for each pack might help.
Even a silhouette would do, but the support towers might confuse things.
It is looking more straightforward now, though.

Yeah I am still pretty confused. Either way I wont be able to back until later in the campaign.
I cant make up my mind on what I want, mostly because everything is presented as a piece of a larger whole. I don't want an accessory, I want a (smaller) complete set. If that makes sense.
So maybe a picture of every set assembled? that way I can see how much I need to have fun with?
