Ok gamers are you ready for another year of the DaBoyz GT? The dates are set (well they been set for a while) for another fantastic event. This is our 9th year running the event and it keeps getting better every year!

Our event this year will be back at the Bristol Harbor Resort, a resort located south of Rochester overlooking scenic Canandaigua Lake. This is our second year at this location. We came back because we heard so many great things about the resort from everyone that attended last year.

Here is the critical information:

We are having Team tournaments for both 40k and Fantasy on Friday, November 14th. The format this year for both team events is Doubles. The 40k and Fantasy singles events will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 15th and 16th.

We understand that 40K is in the middle of some changes right now, but please don’t let that stop you from getting your tickets. Our overall format for the event will not change. We plan on posting rules for the 40k event a couple months after the new edition drops.

Tickets are already on sale! We sold out of both systems last year and the resort sold out of rooms, so we recommend getting them early.

This was a great event last year. I'll def be coming back since it looks like my commute will be much shorter than last years. Anyone looking for a doubles partner?

I've noticed on your website under the 40K section the last bullet point you say "Only 1 detachment". I am assuming you mean only 1 Combined Arms detachment. Only 1 detachment would prevent you from taking any allied detachments....

I assume based on past events that is the point -- no allies, no extra slots. Just old school single FOC.

Except they also say it is a 2 source max tournament....

this is a excellent event. only thing to worry about is the snow.

Great event and amazing venue. This year will be my 4th daboyz and each year seems better than the last. I can't overstate the awesomeness of a wine country resort venue with fireplaces in every room, alcohol on site, and better food than most GTs on site. Good enough to make my wife excited to tag along a second year just to meet the guys and do some day drinking.

The bad news is the venue is fully booked now at 2 months out. If you haven't found a place nearby, better get on it.

Glad I booked early this year. It was a great experience last year and I'm pumped to come back. And I look forward to our inevitable rematch.

Raoiley, sorry but no Lords of War at all. We're afraid that as soon as we start picking and choosing Lords of War it'll open the flood gates. It's something the TO's have thought a lot about and may or may not change in the future.


Just a heads up guys, DaBoyz GT is coming up FAST! Last year we had a great time and had a lot of top players at the event. The venue is great and the terrain is top notch. If you guys love GT's with a laid back atmosphere, alcohol, and a gak ton of Canadians (sorry guys, couldn't help it) this is the tournament for you!
