Subject: What is the biggest underdog, "fan favorite" Codex in Warhammer 40k?

We've officially entered Warhammer 40k tournament season. The LVO has passed, Adepticon is happening this weekend, and we have the Bay Area Open, WargamesCON, and NOVA Open all around the corner. I always like checking to see which armies make the top tables, and am always curious when I see a non "top-tier" list competing near the top. Underdogs are always a fan favorite, but which underdog codex is the ultimate fan favorite?
If you had to choose one "underdog" Codex to win a major GT, which one would it be? Why?

I vote dark angels because I've never seen a dark angel force without allies win a game. Would be interesting to see the skill needed to win a big tournament such as those mentioned.

I voted for Dark Eldar myself. If I saw a pure Dark Eldar army (no Eldar allies) win a big event, I'd be shocked.
Harlequins are a close second. I'd love to see a Harlequin army on a top table.

Sororitas.
I tend to think that there is a little reversal of cause and effect when people look at which players play which armies. (The top tier armies win tournaments because those are the players who win tournies, in other words.). Granted, there is a bit of power difference, (I would be blown away to see Nids win competitively) but I think a lot of the supposed "second tier" armies could easily pull out the big win if played by the right person. I think Sororitas has the traits that attract these players (most people aren't super familiar with the, so they have the edge of ignorance, for example) and wouldn't be surprised to see them pull out a big win sometime.

A Tyranid list won LVO. Looked pretty fun too from what I saw. Off the top of my head I know it was tyranid with ally leviathan detachment. 3x flyrants, 6x(I think) lictors, 3x mawlocs, filled out with rippers and mucaloids and spores.

Guard. I rarely see guard manage to eek out a win, let alone get anywhere near the top tables. Lack of mobiity on most of their options and being decidedly squishy on the rest means objective based games can be difficult while the rock paper scissors means all infantry or all mech usually meets its counter in a tourney.
They seem to have done a bit better at adepticon than I expected though, so good for them, but I still say they're not going to win anything big anytime soon.

In the same vein as #Lictorshame, where something everybody says is bad ends up winning a couple major events, if Chaos won events I would be thrilled to see everyone, myself included, forced to eat their words of how bad Chaos is and how they have no real useful build in tournaments. And then I want a new codex to drop three weeks afterwards and completely wreck this new list that beats everything and people are forced to start the search all over again.

Sisters. Nothing would be more shocking to me than the current sister dex winning a major GT sans allies (not that the right player couldn't do it).
