Hello, i worked on design and made tests of print on cloth ... And it was really cool as seen on this model:

I'm planning to extend my range with different sizes and design ... classical to SciFi , 60x60cm (2'x2') to 180x120cm (6'x4'). I invit you the 19th june on indiegogo to take a look at it :

I would go to Kickstarter if you can. Just by mentioning Indiegogo will scare potential backers away, I personally won't have anything to do with Indiegogo.

Interesting - if you fold the cloth into a 6 inch by 6 inch square and leave it that way for an hour before unfolding it, are there any creases?

Don't worry too much, there are only a handful of people left on DakkaDakka who nurture illusions about KS being in any substantial way superior to indiegogo.
We others just take our money where it shines.

Well I ask because a small skirmish game such as Arena Rex (hint: You need to do a 3 x 3 gladiator arena!) has such a small model count that you only need a very small box to carry the rules, the dice and the minis. It would be great if the mat could be placed inside such a small box as well

If there's a 6x3 option for armada and epic x wing and the price isn't outrageous, I may be in for a couple of these.

I thought armada used a 6x4 mat .... of course I can add a 6 x 3 if needed.

I like the idea - especially if the price is cheaper than current vinyl mats.

I quite like the graphic on the sample mat. Almost all mats currently on the market fail on this point for me.

Hi everybody !

The first picture is actually mine. ^^
It was taken (with my authorization ) from one of my battle reports.

I have been using these mats almost every week for over a year now, and they are the best compromise I've found so far. Compared to vinyl mats, they are lighter and easier to transport since you can fold them and put them in a bag. Perfect to install quickly in the living room for instance, or to bring to the club.

Ok, it's not as nice as a real 3D gaming table, but try transporting 6 gaming tables in a plastic bag...

PS : I don't work for Battleflag, I'm just a happy customer. ^^

Is it stain resistant enough? I have a friend who cannot help himself but spill foodstuff all over the place.

Same here with coffee during a tournament. A player that was not totally awakened spilled his coffee on one of my mats, we just wiped it with tissue.

BTW, I have seen on FB that the campaign is launched : https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/battle-flag-cloth-battlemats-for-wargames#/story

I think a larger version (3x3, 4x4) of the Post apocalyptic mat would be pretty awesome.. as would a 3x3 or 3x4 sandy gladiator arena

I have to agree. There are some of the 2x2 that would be very welcome in the 3x3, particularly an Arid/sand version.

Shipping is a bit of a turn-off for US, but the mats are a nice price. It about evens out.

Question on the grid option:

Does the grid match up perfectly with the edges or are there some partial squares on the edges?

I worked on this kind of grid ...in fact 9 squares in a 1'x1' ( 30x30cm) area to avoid partial squares

i.e. grid on a 4'x4' mat
