Very lovely, but as you have these listed as WIP, I'm going to move this thread over to the standard painting & modeling forum.

If these are indeed completely finished then we can put them back in the showcase forum.

So in short: WIP go in the standard painting & modeling forum, totally finished can go in the showcase forum.

Look pretty solid.

Honestly though, the method of posting is very annoying. I'm personally not going to open every single image in its own window, download a 7mb photo and view them.

It'd be a good plan to A) reduce the size before uploading, and B)load them directly into your post instead of linking offsite.

That said, the scheme is interesting and it looks well executed. Neat painting, the colours work well enough and the basing is very clean and pleasing.

Good job!

Thanks ! I wrote WIP because I'll keep updating finished models to my army, I don't intend on showing half-painted stuff. But if that's the right place that doesn't change anything for me, thanks for moving it to the right section.

Ah sorry, I'm new with hosting websites. I thought it linked to the picture in 800x600 format or something like that. I'll change it when I can so it's easier ! Any idea for a nice format to show the pictures easily ?

And thanks for the compliments, I'm not looking for perfection in my painting but I'm still proud of them

These are superb.

My one constructive criticism would be that I wish you had picked one "power color" and stuck with it. Rad carbines are green, plasma calivers are purple, lenses and displays are yellow, taser goads and arc pistols are blue, ect.

With your main color blue and your main compliment orange, I don't think colors close to blue work well as a secondary highlight. And with the blue being so light, yellow doesn't really work as a highlight because it's also so light that it doesn't provide satisfying contrast. That leaves dark red. Check out how nice the the purity seals look.

Honor the color of Mars.

Thanks for the kind words !

I used different colours because of the nature of the weapons, IRL radium is green, plasma is purple (at least that's what my wife told me), and electricity works well with the blue colour. It adds a bit of variety too, I like it I think it's more obvious because of the small squad size, so there's different colours in the same proportions and it hits the eye. I keep the Casandora Yellow as the colour for most of my lenses and the power packs though, I stick to that.

Are you talking about the Robot for the contrast ? I'd explain better if I had an example of what you mean. I believe the relative crappiness of my camera and the average lighting makes up for the weak highlights, they're way more obvious in real. Otherwise, what else would I use to highlight blue except blue ?

Haha I like red but I prefer blue, never was a fan of using the stock colour scheme so I'm always using my own

Finally finished painting my second Robot and the Datasmith ! I don't like painting the Robots, don't know why. However I like the result even if my highlights could've benefit from more patience from my part

I feared the Datasmith given how many details he got, but in the end I liked it and managed to paint it really well in my opinion. Proud of me about the head cables !

Uploaded them in the main post, and here they are:
