Hello all !

When Kill Team came out I fell in love with the promo pictures and artwork of the Skitarii painted in the Stygies VIII colours. So I gave up my old paint scheme, which was my homebrew forge-world of Noctholm in dark blue, and started repainting my collection in Stygies VIII's colours. I plan on gradually paint stripping and then repainting my whole army this way, but so far I'm just doing the infantry, as the vehicles are tricky to paint strip without destroying a few pieces in the toothbrush process. But in the meantime I bought more models which are painted in this new colour scheme.

I did a proper photoshoot (still with my cellphone and with the means at my disposal) of my what units I completed so far. Fairly big picture in the spoiler, but click if you want an even bigger picture !

Best wishes on your project! Recently I purchased Theta-7 Acquisitus and a Skitarii box to start a Stygies VIII Kill Team. Another local KT player told me about how Stygies VIII flirts with xenotech-heresy and so has periodic skirmishes with the Deathwatch. The Deathwatch is my primary KT, and so I thought Stygies VIII would be a good choice for an alternate KT. If I ever need to teach or supply both sides of a KT game, I have something thematic. (Although I also have Necrons, of which either Imperial faction would be happy to fight ... It's just that I did not enjoy playing the Necrons in KT. Maybe that will change with KT: Elites.)

Stygies VIII is my favorite color scheme for Admech. I also think they have some of the best lore given it is pretty easy to wonder just how heretical they could be. Makes coming up with reasons why they are fighting pretty easy before games. You have done and outstanding job with that scheme on your models. I think Kroze is above and beyond excellent. Almost too good for the tabletop.

As side note, I am finding it kinda of funny that many of my Kill Teams have the same basic subfaction trait now that subfactions are a thing.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes Stygies VIII has awesome lore and I especially love their shady background, it opens up a great amount of narrative freedom in games.

I can't wait for the Skorpius to be released, I so want to assemble and paint it ! But most of all PLAY IT !

Big update ! I changed the pictures for more recent and better quality ones, as well as adding several models I painted in the meantime, including the latest release: the Serberys Sulphurhound. Check the first post to see all this and don't hesitate to tell me what you think of it, whatever your opinion is.
