Check it out and marvel at the horribly small bataillon box! fr.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.fr

Rogue Daemonhunter fueled by Chaos

Well, we had to know this was a consequence of evening the prices out: making smaller battalion boxes. Though this box only swapped arrer boys for night goblins (which are more useful) and wolf riders for spider riders. Why they wouldn't through in a single Fanatic sprue is beyond me though. And seriously, am I the only person who wishes GW would stop replacing quality metal models with more expensive plastic ones (fanatics, stealth suits, even scouts)? While plastic is better for converstions, I'm not a big fan of any of those new plastics.

And let me (female dog) once more that these days their plastics ain't even so hot for converting. They tend to have fewer parts and things like the arms are no longer compatible with older arms.
FEH!

On top of everything else, the very nature of plastics means they are almost always going to be less detailed than the metals they are replacing. (Marine Scouts anyone? How about those softly detailed termies?) Which means, in summary, GW is providing less detailed figures that are less-compatable and/or convertable while being more expensive than the ones they replaced. GW is an even more prolific espouser of newspeak than our current batch of politicians. Up is down! White is black! Plastics are cheap! GW cares about it's customers!
I wonder what Kirby & Co. are going to do in January/February to inflate the stock price when they have to do their mid-year progress report... Can't do a buyback, already did that! Take out another loan? Pull an RIAA and sue their customers for not buying their product? Who knows! I'm sure it will be a riot to watch.

i'd like to know why they aren't releaseing plastic boar boyz yet. they already have the legs from the command sprue, how hard would it be to make a plastic box set with 5 of those and 5 regular torsos and arms. they wouldn't even need to make any new parts!

Why are all the night gobbo heroes try to be as ugly as they possibly can? Did they realize they are the ugly-guys of the fanatsy world and think: "HA, screw you all, if we are ugly then we'll give you the ugliness!"
But they are Horde effective...

Hey- I love the NG hero in the centre! He's litterally oozing with character. If anyone picks up that blisterback I'll buy that guy off you Also, I'm ashamed to say that the NG shaman on the right is starting to grow on me. (please forgive me lord Brian!)

More interesting to me was the fanatic box... does that imply that the gobo regiment box will not include any? and 3 for 12.50 Euros? That is costly. Pleased to see that the spiders do come 10 to a box though.
