A list of Dark Angels rumours

• Codex said to be released around April/May 2007
• Will probably contain armylists for the regular chapter, Deathwing & Ravenwing.
• No further information on codex contents known at this time
• Codex will be accompanied by both chapter specific and generic releases (this is not a complete list)
  
  - Two Dark Angel Captains, one is said to be a modernised version of the Original DA captain. The other one is said to be robed with a bare head. One may be a limited edition for the armybox.
  
  - Ravenwing plastic sprues – said to contain conversion parts similar to the current Ravenwing bikers and other parts to customise the Land Speeder.
  
  - Plastic conversion parts to replace the current metal Typhoon & Tornado hybrid kits.
  
  - Dark Angels Vehicle sprue including Icons rather than the entire doors (no need when the basic kit includes doors) and you can put the icons wherever you want to.
  
  - Dark Angels sprue/s said contain terminator parts including a new power sword and additional assault cannon, robed bodies (complete bodies minus the chest plate), alternate chest plates, shoulder pads, bolters and other parts you normally find on chapter specific accessory sprues.
  
  - Master of the Ravenwing riding a Jetbike this will probably be a unique mode of transport for the master.
  
  - Generic Librarian models including one wearing terminator armour.
  
  - All plastic Devastator squad
  
  - An all plastic Vindicator has been completed but unknown if it will be released with the Dark Angels.
  
  - Rumours around plastic Drop pod but this like the Vindicator is more of a vague rumour.

The DA's were my first army, i hope to see:

point reduction on the termies, just have the sarge stubborn like tac squads,

point reduction on ravenwing, the 6+ save, IMO, is not worth the pioints, although skilled rider is worth a point or two extra per model.

the two assault cannon termie sprue is well overdue

plastic drop pods will see a huge jump in sales for SM armies, as everyone no doubt knows.

new character models woul dbe great,

and a redo of the original DA captain? awesome! that was my very first mini, and i still use him in games to this day. despite the 2 deminsional pose, he still looks bad arse. I love that model.

and hopefully the new vindicator will have the large dozer blader similar to the forgeworld version, i think that is a great looking model.

Any crazy rules rumors? They get plasma that don't overhead? Something wacky please.

Why would a new sprue with an additional assault cannon make someone angry?  Haven't we been asking for this?

Isn't this "answering the mail" by making ANOTHER assault cannon? 

Fun rumors...I am just excited to see the models and new plastics.  Hopefully, the UK GD will show them off.  Well, some of them.

Ok, I'm not supposed to tell you this, but DA are actually Squats.

It's true, they hide under the skirts, the upper torso is just a puppet.

Coming soon to a tourney near you: DA AssCan Army of Shooty Death- Termie Librarian w/termie command squad & 2x AssCans, 6 plas/AssCan tac squads, 3x dev squads w/4x AssCans, remainder filled with HB/AssCan Tornados (say 4). Assuming the AssCans will cost the same as a las cannon, that's 24 Assault Cannons in a 2k army. Oh the lamenting of the women and the gnashing of teeth that shall soon commence will be the stuff of legends!

Dev squads with ACannons will be very funny when they get shot up while walking into range.
