Been a bit quiet but im back with updates again!
Some more ultramarines and custodes, the custodes army has changed a bit since my client and i decided to go with a candy red (clear red tamiya) instead of the normal red i already did.
The army is coming along pretty fast now so i hope to post more updates on it soonish!

Oh whoahh, splendid work on the Ultramarines, but the Custodes "candy apple" red is just breathtaking!!!

Custodes vehicles look sweet, but as an ultramarines fan I'm loving those colours and weathering. First class stuff

It's so hard to paint these... Make the gold interesting with washes and glazes is pretty difficult... and airbrushing the red is also a pain... all by all not an average day commission!
But learned a lot from this commission and know how to tackle some problems and that's the most important thing for me keep learning and improving

It's done with clear red from tamiya on a basecoat of silver San76, hope it helps!

So i have finally got a client ordering the building and painting of the WARLORD titan!
When he ordered the commission with me i could not resist of getting one myself as well.
Here is the first week:
Day one all parts washed and laid out and the start of the legs.
Second day the building of the head and torso and
4th and 5th i started painting the lower body.




And i have recently sold all my warhammer fantasy armies to get into Darklands with a friend of mine and probably drag some more people with us into that game.
So i needed a nice table to play some games on!
Here is the scenery i have build so far:

Oh my - the Titan is simply one of the best ever seen, even in WIP!

I imagine you paint the legs and the armor plates separately and then glue it together, right? Because otherwise you have crazier painting skills than I can fathom.

Terrain looks cool, too. Nice and simple. What did you use for the low wall around the wheat patch?

Today a 30k Typhon painted as a 40k Typhus and more work done on the warlord!
He is getting close to finishing now!

So only some kill banners left to make this weekend and then he is done!

Since i finished the rather big distraction i can finally get back to my agenda and finish the SOH commission!

Today 4 more characters, tomorrow 2 rhinos and a vindicator!
Then just 2 dreadclaws 1 Kharibdys and 15 reavers and the full army is finished!
Cant wait to set everything up in the photobooth and take pictures of this massive army.

So now that the crazy heat wave with over 40 Celsius in my studio is gone i can finally paint again!!
So a bit of a delay in schedule but here we go again, SOH Reavers with jumppacks finished!

It was a really great weekend with very cool students and great atmosphere.
