UPDATE
All Zeus pattern ships and the spear prows have been approved for manufacture. Mould making could start in as little as two weeks with a pre-xmas release quite possible.
Panthera and Lynx, both are now being re-printed and will be put back in production as soon as possible.
Also now in the queue to follow on the heels of these are another ten vessels for various factions.
Awwwww yeah. I can't wait!!

Epic scale is best for the true scope of 40K...at a fraction of the cost as well as space required for storage and transport. you can build all those armies you always wanted to build when your bank account told you no.

Well it might make painting the troops a bit easier, but i have been playing battletech for so long the 6mm scale is completely normal to me.

Malika made a really good observation in this thread, the classic Plastic titans scale really well with the Vanguard 3mm ranges.

Agree totally <£100 for a complete army most of the time (you can probably do it even cheaper). There are a few guys doing some really mental armies as well (if you have a look at the 30k armies thread down in the GW Specialist Games forum). I'm trying for about 20,000 points worth of Crusade-era World Eaters, which will hopefully encompass at least half a dozen titans, 4-5 infantry companies of marines, tank and artillery companies too (am about 1/4 of the way along so far!)
kestral wrote:That is really cool! Singlehandedly makes me want to get into a new scale, just because of the ranks of tiny dudes.
Definitely think there is something to be said for the look of the massed infantry, titans, vehicles etc. It sits far better I think at 6-8mm than it does at 28mm, where at that scale the vehicles and titans completely dominate what looks much better as an infantry/platoon level game.

Even if they are a slightly larger scale the titanicus titans look close enough. i have a reaver as you have seen in my pics and it doesn't look out of place.

Well considering 28mm 40K was always described to the players as one little section of the front in a larger battle. epic scale is the entire battle.
If i allied all my imperial forces i am looking at
13 aircraft (3 superheavies)
25 vehicles (6 superheavy/titans)
129 infantry.
Not quite as many as you are looking to build.....but i have infected other players at my store. one has some black templar, another khorne, another thousand sons, one with an huge tau army, and the imperial guard guy with the artillery company with defense in depth.

Most baffling one might be the BMP-1, which is... well, it has fuel tanks inside the troops' exit doors. I starts at "ridiculous" and goes up from there:
"How do we fit inside that thing?"
"Well, mostly you curl up into a ball. And pray hard."
I know! It's a Soviet APC so the troops should be in front of the fuel tanks. Fuel and APCs are worth more than soldiers after all.
i give it a 9/10. should have drilled out the cannon barrel though

Little random release, not meant as a replacement for the existing Centurion Main Battle Tank, but a hull variant of it!
Novan Regulars – Centurion Exposed Tracks (Hector) - £8.50
The centurion main battle tank is the most common tank used by Novan Regular forces in the field a rugged and heavily armoured design it has been built to be a reliable and easy to operate vehicle capable of going long periods of time between maintenance cycles making it the perfect machine to equip Tusculum Nova’s armoured divisions.
The designs has seen many weapon fits over the years but the most common armaments (hector configuration) are a regular tank cannon in the turret backed up by a fixed forward hull mounted laser cannon. In addition the hull sides can be configured to mount a sponson weapon most commonly a HMG for close in anti personnel protection.
This model is a regular Centurion tank without track guards.
This set contains:
3 x Centurion hulls without track guards
3 x Hector turret sprues
3 x bow machine guns
8 x hatches (6 closed, 2 open)

Can't say that much. I mean, I've got a picture on what's being developed (and even regarding that I don't know everything), but a lot of it is shrouded in secrecy.
What I can say is that there should be some 6mm reinforcements for the Skinners and Eloi dropping by soon

Eloi reinforcements!
Eloi Federation – Way Seekers - £3.50
Eloi Federation Way Seekers
Function:
The Way Seekers of the Eloi Federation function as the leaders of Eloi Battle Contingents, and are to be found serving at all levels of command from Detachment Commander to Battle Group Leaders. They have many specialist branches within the Eloi’s military establishment. Highly intelligent and extensively trained the “Seekers” as they are commonly known have studied the art of war in all its many aspects and are therefore opponents not to be underestimated.

Armaments carried by such individuals include conventional Eloi small arms as well as the favoured “great sword” a melee weapon capable of piercing even the mighty armour of our Novan Elites. Certain individuals have also been observed as carrying the less common spear and rarely a staff which may serve as a badge of office.
Observed abilities:
Redacted by order of the high command – Magenta level clearance required.
This set contains:
12 x way seekers
1 x master seeker
Miniatures painted by John Fielding.

This set contains:
1 x siege regiment command strip
1 x warrior I
1 x warrior II

3mm Novan Regulars – Warrior II IFV Transport Pool - £6.00

16 x warrior II pulse laser turrets
https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/3mm-novan-regulars-warrior-ii-ifv-transport-pool/
And the 6mm scaled stuff couldn't be left behind...
Novan Elites – Guardian Tanks (Turnus)
- £9.00
The Elites Guardian tank is yet another product of Tusculum Nova’s most advanced research and development programs to equip it’s Elite forces with the most powerful weapons and equipment that can be provided. Guardian’s are intended to act as front line main battle tanks a roll originally filled by the older Scorpion designs which have now been relegated to a supporting roll for the mechanised squadrons. The hull bears a similar appearance to the Mauler assault transport and was developed alongside that vehicle. Although smaller than the mauler it is none the less a very potent design heavily armed and armoured with an impressive turn of speed .
This particular variant of the Guardian utilises the latest turret design commonly found on many new production run Trojan IFV’s with in this case a twin 20mm rotary-cannon mounted to either side of the commanders hatch these cannon are devastating in the anti-personnel roll and they are extremely effective against light vehicles also. Two sponson mounting points are also available these can be fitted with several weapon options with either the standard laser cannon or heavy machinegun being the most common choices and there is also a permanant forward hull MG fitted as standard.
In the guardian elite forces have a highly versatile and potent battle tank able to survive in the deadliest of warzones.
This pack contains 3 x guardian main battle tanks with rotary cannon turrets.
Model dimensions are: 30mm long, 22mm wide not including sponsons, 15mm high to top of turret.

Update time!
Ships News
After much thought I decided to dispense with the funding campaign and press ahead with self funding a bunch of the ships myself.
The Panthera frigate and Lynx destroyers previously manufactured in metal have now been slightly remodelled and remastered for resin casting. These three ships are now being moved towards printing the masters and then moulding. Hope to see them re-released very early next year.
Zeus pattern vessels, the destroyer as you are probably aware has already been released. I have now received sample production castings of the cruiser, light cruiser and frigate which I have authorised to be manufactured ASAP, the casters predict a late November delivery date for the first batch of those. The Spear pattern prows will also be available around the same time.
Picture of all four ship types below.
