Fantastic releases this month. I've already converted a Rodok ML but the new sculpt looks badass. Helmetless Riot Grrls look fantastic [was never a fan of the weird fins on the helmets] and Outrage characters are a great visualisation of the Manga charcters. Beba is sexy AF and will be used as a proxy wherever possible, and Emily is my new CSU. Nice work CB!

Rewatching it I found these frames too be the most interesting.

So we have (left to right)
1) Lunah, known quantity.
2) Aleph Fight-bot? Arms and Legs seems to be attached by space magnets.
3) Nomad Cyber-Witch? She seems to have Borderlands style digi-constructs which looks cool.
4) Captain Pan-O? HI looking dude with a big ass shield. I can get behind him. Didn't even think that HI would be a thing in this game.

The Aristeia game may be part of the GenCon deal, maybe. I just wish that it were not a 2 player game. Board Games for 3+ players are more interesting, and easier to get my group to play.

I probably won't buy Aristeia if it's 2 player only as it will never get played for that same reason. Though if it has a really cool pre-order (like a metal wild bill for infinity) I'll probably be dumb and buy it.

The team building element is what intrigues me. Given their track record with Infinity it's an auto-buy for me anyway.

Also a non-doctor Djanbazan AP rifle. My guess is the AP Rifle Jannisary and a Djanbazan, either Sniper Rifle or AP Rifle will appear in a redone QK starter. I'd say AP Rifle Djanbazan and Sniper in a blister but that would make for 6 models which is pretty unheard of.

Sounds about right. It's also possible that we'll see 2 Djanbazan, with one replacing either one of the Hafza or the Odalisque spitfire. Of course, when we'll see a new QK starter...

Djanbazan AP Rifle and Sniper Rifle is also fodder for a dual blister pack.

Yeah, I'm looking for something that doesn't follow the design of PC games. If I wanted to play OW, HOTS or something similar there are already a ton of games to choose from. The miniature aspect isn't strong enough when the mechanics are unappealing or game feels as it was rigidly ported from PC.

I had to double check, if I'm really seeing another Musashi and Lunah. So far no character that I'd like so I'll hunker down and let the it pass.

Parvati looks to be an Lhost. Look at the face, it has the "lines" that the ALEPH Vedic/Posthuman stuff has.

She is. There's a video on Beasts of War where Carlos talks about the characters a bit, she's been around since the start of Aristeia, which originally just used robots for entertainment.

I'm really impressed with the models mostly. Mushashi is particularly awesome, and I prefer both him and Lunah to the current sculpts (although it's a lot closer with Lunah, both sculpts are pretty good).

I'll wait until Corvus come into the 90's and produce their miniatures in HIPs plastic.

We don't know the material here yet, do we?

Apparently they're plastic, but it's likely the Wyrd style of plastic.

The models, especially Parvati's pistol lying flat on her chest, make them seem like they're a different material altogether. So long as it's Wyrd's plastic, is all fine.
