So what are some of the most powerful/favorite Hordes lists you've seen so far?  I'm trying to anticipate the kinds of things I might see at a HORDES only tourney.

Can you give me full lists?  Any point value is cool, probably 350 and 500 are most common.

I've seen a fair ammount of variation, but some themes are common.

Madrak, 2 DMTs or Axer + 2Impailers with 2 squads of champions, this list is very powerful, with surefoot cast in the middle of the formation, this is a tough nut to crack. Champs are fricking awesome.

Baulder + 3 woldwardens and filler. thats 4 "Earthspikes" a turn, plus all of Baulder's synergy with constucts.

Lylth and 2 to 3 Seraph + filler. The Classic Seraspam list. It's a really rough Assassination list.

I have yet to see a strong Skorne list that's also played by several people.

All of the above is assuming your playing with released Figures and I havn't seen any of the new caster's used yet.

350 - Lylyth, 3x Seraph, 2x Shredder OR Vayl, 12x Shredder

500 - Lylyth, 3x Seraph, Carnivean, +whatever



At 500 points things begin to even out somewhat across the board.
At 350 its incredibly hard for any faction to deal with 3 Seraphs or 12 Shredders.

Just to add, Makeda+ Praets seems pretty common. I expect Krueger + Wardens to soon be up there.

The big powerhouses do seem to be Baldur+Wardens, Lylyth/Vayl+Seraphs, Madrak+Champs.

3 Seraphs are damn near impossible to stop at 350. They will destroy 12 Shredders, too!
