Soviet Kanukistan

Played against the Circle for the first time(s) on the weekend.  All in all, I found myself completely outmaneuvered due to the "all-terrain" aspect of the list.  My opponent was using Baldur + Woldwarden and boxset or Kaya and boxset + Tharn Ravagers.

The Woldwarden was extremely annoying due to it's 3" difficult terrain zone - which is effectively no-charge / no-slam 360.  Baldur was cloging up my chargelanes with that damn forest.  I am ashamed at how my Cryx was completely outmaneuvered.  I fear for how my Menites or Khador would do, as they are already very slow.

Also, any tips on Everblight's advantages / disadvantages?  They are the only Hordes faction I haven't played yet.

Well - if your opponent is content to sit behind his cover shoot him alot. If you sit at 10" away and take a few pot shots or sac the occasional bone-jack to arc some spells into him you should do fine. i think that with their great shooty Menites & Khador would do great vs Circle.

My usual counter to annoying spell lists is Goreshade - no spells or feats, no yo-yo of doom.

Pick him apart at range is my tip as well. I play trollbloods and usually rely on my Impailers and Madrak's ax very heavily against the Circle.
