I think that is the exact purpose of them as 3 are removable which is the max number of the models in a retinue. Stavros said there will be others coming in the future so the collectors can have a wide variety of models to put on their shelves.

I heard (somewhere...) that the next faction AFTER the Orcs would be a human faction based on Ancient Greek City States, but can’t for the life of me confirm that anywhere, or find any pictures or concepts. Did my subconscious mind make that up (I *have been listening to a lot of Hardcore History lately...), or is there a nugget of truth in there?

Yes! I think it is still not confirmed in City States or Old Dominion (baroque statue undead) will be after the W'adrhûn (orcs) but they are definitely coming.

City States are supposed to be Steampunk Ancient Greeks with Hoplites and Da Vinci mechanical inventions led by a philosopher king, or something crazy along the lines (there is an old lore video discussing this).

The only artwork we have for now is the following pic, on the far left it is supposed to be a City States dude.

Really liking First Blood. They did a phenomenal job, exactly the type of rules I was expecting.

Skirmish? I think no problem. When it comes to rank&file aka main version then you need to make your own stands to be able to play according to ruleset. Also the rules for both versions are free on their website, and most of fluff too.

Not news really but just taking a second to appreciate how far the sprue quality and design has changed over just a year and a bit....

Yeah, the improved quality of models and overall improvement of the sprues is really great. They still have much to work on though, like the thickness and the number of connection points on sprue or the still present and horrible mouldlines. Also they need to make their kits more even when it comes to number of options - I remember how dissapointed I was that Avatara kit comes with just 4 head variants (especially for something that is a mainstay choice) when Ugr (my favourite kit so far) had 8 different heads to choose from.

Tbf though, not a single kit yet has surpassed the disgusting mould lines that is, was and always will be; tempestus scion. They genuinely made me consider quitting the hobby XD XD XD

It would probably be best if the prize was randomized among participants. Tournament + prize only for the winner can attract unpleasant attitudes, if taken too seriously. And I'm not participating so I have no personal interest.
