It could still stand a refresh as the gunner and gunner chair are a smidge wonky, as I suspect its just the Vyper seat regigged a bit

The Falcon chassis is from 2nd ed knocking on 25 years old, so long overdue a polish

A Vyper more in line with the Skyweaver would be cool (even if thanks to Doom a Haywire cannon is unlikely)

A new Falcon would also probably cost like, 60£ ,instead of the 32£ it does today, after several price hikes.

If you could, what would you change about the Falcoln and Vyper? Not trying to pick a fight, I'm genuinely interested. I read lots of people saying that and I wonder what to change. New crew, certainly, updated weapons. But those all seem like minor issues. With imperial vehicles, you can add more skulls or filigree to make them more grimdark. But the Eldar vehicles, I'm not sure what to do with them. Maybe make the lines a bit more curvier?

Tbh, the Falcon is still perfectly serviceable. All you really could do to improve it would be to make some of the details sharper.

The pilot, however, looks like the Eldar decided to replace the actual Eldar pilot with a chimp in a spacesuit, a la the Soviet Union.

With the old plastics, there is a ton of wasted space on the frames. In addition to the detail being soft, you could fit all the parts to make both a wave serpent and a falcon onto the sprues. Maybe even the prism/spinner.

The Vyper is so a product of its time and is just the big version of the old plastic jetbikes, neither of which suggest any kind of speed especially given the bolt upright nature of the riders, like I said something like the Harly skyweaver, maybe a smidge chunkier but still the crotch rocket vibe, plus the option for a melee instead of the 2nd gun

Falcon... mostly just the pilot. Though frosted or painted canopies serve as well in practice. Maybe some of the guns, particularly the pulse laser could stand a redesign (I'm honestly not sure which version of the other weapons it comes with now (mine is from the original release and I simply replaced the other gun with a more recent kit)

Vyper needs a ground up redesign. Its a clunky model all around, with several assembly issues as well as the overall exposed areas and general look.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

IMHO all the eldar vehicles are outdated in their look now. They were top of the line in their time of release with the manufacturing available but honestly I think they all need a ground up redesign where the vehicles look more bio-mechanical. They grow their stuff from wraith bone after all. I think they should resemble artwork of the craft-worlds much more. With more contours as well as bulbs and nodes.

Currently I think all their stuff looks too much like something even an auto manufacturer in reality could make easily. I mean, the fact that they have a similar rear door on the back of their transports to a rhino is a perfect example.

Secondary weapon upgrades.

First and foremost, both have been able to swap out their twin Shuriken Catapults (bad bottomed in their 2nd Ed day) for a Shuriken Cannon since at least 3rd Ed - but have never enjoyed the modelling option, barring conversion work.

In the modern day? A Shuriken Cannon upgrade, in the kit, at a bare minimum. Possibly with other options to boot.

Eldar vehicles, in general have aged much more gracefully than the Eldar themselves.

I’m kinda hoping that all future Aeldari kits come with the optional Ynnari heads that the Banshees and Incubi got.

Honestly, I can deal with current Eldar vehicles (Falcon and Vyper) if it means that we get all new aspects and an Avatar.

Yeah, because they're going to release a dedicated WE codex with the old berzerkers. A TS/DG style revamp is the only way you're getting those new models, so you should care.

I think it has to be Scion related there's been a ton of new artwork for them and also tons of "army on display" pictures for the upcoming War Zone Octarius book.

Possibly even an army of renown. Maybe they're going to do a reimagining of that drop force specialist detachment.

Not quite the same, the most recent reveal appears to have a transverse ridge above the toe, which that boot doesn't.

Not saying it isn't, but it could be a simple as a painted bit that hasn't been full assembled yet so as not to give too much away in the rumor engine. Or a jump unit using an exploding rock instead of a clear rod to hold it aloft.

But you're right. It's bizarre. Because it's a Squat.

I hope its not squats. At least, today's pic hopeful isn't squat.

Floating rocks aren't an aesthetic I think works in 40k. Sure, maybe they have weird gravitation technology. But it would look more natural with KOs

Someone was saying on another forum that the robot foot was part of the retinue of Grimaldus. That was before the the Black Templar teaser so there could be something to it.
They said that this is part of the same kit.
