As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake;

Don't forget, there is temporal distortion in the Warp. Messages come out before they are sent, or years afterward.
Methinks in real life something happened to Mr. Orlanth and he has forgotten about us.

Ye Gods, I had no internet since Christmas, one of the batrps Ithat is long overdue. I am back again now. MemphisMark had it right RL got in the way, big time (new home/writing a book/ISPcollapse and a short but serious illness).
My aplologies. I dont even have the notes for the battle. I remember that I had a draw against orks. The scenario forced me tro split my fleet. I smashed the ork fleet on the right flank but my Emperor class got headcapped (killing the Admiral) and the accompanying Dominator on the left flank suffered a headcapping AND shield loss to some very very lucky ork shooting. I made a sligshot around a planet to disengage via leaving the table edge. Neither ship could pass leadership tests in their condition. I was lucky to pull of a draw with the carriers in the condition they were in had I stayed to fight the battle it would have gone heavily against me.
