Prince Yriel Don't remember seeing a pic of Yriel before. I'm totally conflicted on this model, but he does have a pretty classic "Eldar pirate" look about him, with all the foppish clothes and the topknot ... Eldar Autarch with Power Sword Also interesting, cause I never thought about how GW is breaking up the Autarch models. This hawkish one apparently also comes with the reaper launcher, and then there's the bansheeish one that comes in the boxed army (who comes with ... ?), and I guess 2 or so more blisters to come? Madness. - Boss Salvage

Prince Yriel is actually pretty sweet. But running almost $17....? I was tempted just to own it till I saw the price.

Hope more old fools come to their senses and start giving you their money instead of those Union Jack Blood suckers... |

I wonder how much Yriel will be in Canada. I hope against hopes that it will be $25, but as the $15US codes are all translated t $25CAD, I suspect he will be $30.
Go GW.

Upon further review, I do like Yriel. Except for those flags. Oy vey. EDIT: Oh, and he's also standing on some structure, likely Wraithbone. Damnit.

well, it adds flavor to the model, as he's the dude who saved Iyaanden from being completely wiped out by the 'nids. I like the one I painted, but my banner turned out kinda crappy I've been liking how all the characters have something cool on their bases (the scorpion exarch has a piece of shale with a little scorpion on it)

yriel is insane for 150 pts. hes gota spear that is a powerweapon that wounds on a 2+ as well as a 4+ invul, + he has the eye of wrath that lets him unleash it once per game putting the large blast template over himself and any enemy model under the template takes a st 6 ap3 hit, its insane, the only bad part is yriel takes a wound at the end of the game, so if a player deals 2 wounds t him they are gonna kill him completley. just got the codex in my store today so i have been reading non stop

He should look a bit off from a normal Eldar. He spent decades as an outcast, leading a pirate fleet, before saving his craftworld from Tyranids, and dooming himself by picking up a soulburning weapon. I'm repainting all my old Eldar pirates to use as guardians, and using them with him in my next army.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

I saw his rules, and he is a monster and totally worth the points. He has a high number of Power Weapon attacks on the charge and he wants to be stuck in combat by himself, because he has a nice little Str. 6, AP 3 Large blast that centers on himself that he can use one per game in assault.

guardians seem a little weak for outcast pirates. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but mainly using dire avengers and jetbikes.
