Good to see the ogre got his foot back and trees with their base are off to a good start.

By strange coincidence, it has been exactly a year since I posted anything. I'm posting a lot on Instagram, but had a hankering to return to old haunts and post some pics. If my Lamenters belong aywhere, they belong here...

I split my Lamenters into old and new era models and played a game of second edition against my friend Bobbie's beautiful 2nd ed Novamarines. She lives up in Lincoln, so we rarely play. The battle photos are from all the way back at Bring Out Yer Lead!

Lovely stuff and great to see you (and progress pics). What's your insta so I can follow?

Oh Lamenters! I'll have to point Solar_lion in your direction.

Good to see you back fifty, and the Lamenters are looking great! Still amazed at the precision of the freehand chapter badges, I’d probably struggle getting the initial dots in the right spot

The 2nd Ed battle pics look awesome, doubly so with the OG cardboard ruins. Both armies look really cool, though is that a rogue Mantis Warrior Apothecary I spy?

Welcome back Fifty

Lamenters? A bold choice mate - you've done a great job and they look freaking awesome - but I cannot imagine painting a whole army of yellow and then topping it off with a complex chequered pattern!
edit: I did belatedly recall that youve painted lamenters since you started the blog... um... its always been a bold choice I guess? sigh

Now you seem to be back i have a quick cheeky question: Did you ever finish this enormous non-standard standard?

This image stuck in the back of my mind for some reason and I used it (really loosely) as inspiration for a banner (far far smaller) I made myself. Im just curious and havent seen it on your blog or instagram

Cheers!
KT

I've done more, but it is not finished yet. We are doing the sequel campaign this year so I will have to finish it.
