I gotta say Reaper keeps getting better and better with how Bones fit together. Goremaw fits together so well you can't even tell where it comes apart.

Loving the Mausoleum and Stonehenge as well. Definitely glad I got the spare fences- should have gotten one more though.

Black Bases and Grey Plastic Forever:My quaint little hobby blog.

40k- The Kumunga Swarm (more)
Count Mortimer’s Private Security Force/Excavation Team (building)
Kabal of the Grieving Widow (less)

Plus other games- miniature and cardboard both.

My good lady got her notice last week, and I got mine yesterday.

Her package would have arrived yesterday, if there had been anyone there to sign for it. (I love my wife - she stole my hill giants from me when they came in for the Bones II Kickstarter. You have no idea how happy that made me. Then she used them to squish my undead in Kings of War - so they were put to good use.)

The Auld Grump - one of them is named ROFLStomp....

I was disappointed on the fit of some models. Most of all the Behir for me was incredibly disappointing.

The old D&D Giants Attack Behir was one of my favorite prepainted figures. Quite large and detailed figure. I got rid of it around the time Reaper previewed their Bones one.

Way too many parts on far too large of base considering the size of the creature, and most my parts did not want to fit, heated up or not.

I guess you win some, you lose some. Quite happy with just about all the other figures.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Mine fit ok for the most part, though Maldrakar has one wing that barely fit well at all and will need stuffing.

Has anyone got their hands on the not-Tiamat model yet?

Just want to know if I'm going to be allowed to put mine on the mantlepiece when it's done!

If you can fit it there, sure. She's pretty big.

How would we know what you are "allowed" to do in your own home?

Mine came in the mail last night. My wife said I was adorable and acting like a kid on Christmas morning. Which, to be fair, is how I was feeling

I'm super-excited to paint some of these models up. Many of them, particularly the Core Set, will likely end up as practice models for my wife and kids to paint on. But a bunch others will get re-purposed for some custom AoS scenarios.

How did everyone else's models come out? I had everything in the order that I ordered, and the only miscast was on one individual figure from the Core Set (the human with the cane and the snake wrapping around it, the snake's head didn't fill out).

My plans this week are to start prepping the models. I don't have the cash on hand for the new 40K stuff, so I will be working on these for the immediate future.

I didn't go all in, and haven't had time to assemble anything yet, but it all looks good so far. The crusaders will do very well in Frostgrave or as Sigmarines. Shub Niggurath is suitable huge. The Solar is pretty awesome, etc.

However, I think the big winners from this campaign are the weapons of virtue and death, and vice to a lesser degree. They look great and will work with all kinds of miniatures. No one need wield a bendy sword again.

I'm pretty embarrassed that I don't remember what I pledged for. I know I went for the giant dragon and Sledgehammer gun, but not anything else I put down for.
Europeans don't get theirs until at least July, so it'll be a pleasant surprise.

My snake cane guy doesn't have a snake head either. Rest seems ok. Lot of bending to do.

My Solar's wing is miscast. When do they want us to bug them about replacements?

This is what their email said:

Reaper Miniatures wrote: There is a Missing Part From my Order OR a Missing "Bit" from a Model

If you are missing one or more models, or one or more parts from a model (whether an entire model or simply an arm/head/weapon/etc.) please contact us to receive a replacement. We will not "replace" parts which are not listed on your Invoice or were not locked in on your Pledge Manager.

Send your email to help@reapermini.com. Be sure to include:

- Your Order Number as shown in the Pledge Manager (Not your backer number)
- Your full name as shown in the Pledge Manager
- Your shipping address as shown in the Pledge Manager
- The part number of the item in question as shown on the large graphics of the Home Page of the Kickstarter Project.
- A brief description of the problem - “Model xxx is missing her left wing”, “model is damaged or mis-cast”, etc.

Please remember to refer to the model’s left and right sides as if you were the model in question. This is the most common mistake of this kind, misidentifying the left and right sides. Please help us to get the correct parts to you.

Please DO NOT include screenshots or attachments of photographs of the miniatures or boxes when you email us unless we request it. Attachments are incredibly insecure, and we do not open attachments from untrusted and unknown sources. Emails with unsolicited attachments will be deleted without being read.

Likewise, emails that are exasperatingly long and complex, or which contain vulgar and abusive language will be moved to the end of the queue, and in extreme cases will be deleted without resolution. If we cannot determine your problem and the appropriate resolution quickly, we will not take hours to do so, nor will we wade through paragraphs of profanity and insults to our heritage to help you. Please send only one email of this kind. Sending a new email each day with “Oh I just noticed this” will not help. If you have already sent an email, reply once to the first email with the required information.

We will not begin the replacement process for missing or damaged items for several weeks. It will take us some time to reset and be able to process these emails.
So it will take them a bit of time to get to it, but they are ready for the emails.

I'm planning on taking over the dining table this week to prep and clean the models, and inspect every one of them at that point to make sure they are all in good shape before emailing Reaper. I'd rather make just one email to them.

I think Goremaw is my favorite model out of all of them. So cool!

I thought that I was missing the Sophie from the Core pledge... went through the box several times....

Then I looked at my wife's side of the painting table, where the 'missing' figure was sitting, cleaned, primed, and half painted already....

You have no idea how happy that makes me.

The Auld Grump - for two decades I had a non-gaming girlfriend that tolerated my hobbies. Now, I have a wife that steals my minis for herself! The difference is beyond description.

You are a very lucky man.

My wife is painting our Bones 1 Cthulhu, so I thought I would surprise her with Shub Niggurath. Turns out Subby's a little too scary.

Mind touched down in India today!

BFG, giants, angels and the half animals.

I think the Warhampsters are in there too.

Expect to paint them sometime around 2020...

Finally some good news:

We have been informed by our partner in the UK that the container of rewards has arrived in port, and they are optimistic about arrival at their facility soon. They have told us that they expect to begin shipping rewards a day or two after delivery to them.

We do not have an update about AU rewards at this time, but we promise to inform you as soon as we have new information.

Reaper posted on their homepage that Bones 4 is coming this August! Just as soon as we get in our Bones 3, they ask for more. Gah! Hopefully I can have a bit more control over myself this time around (not having as large a hobby budget should help).

EDIT: Missed the current discussion in the other thread here: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/714887.page

Hopefully I can get some money saved up for this. I was excited for the new 40K stuff, but I think Reaper is more likely to grab my interest right now.
