Initial sizing. While I played around with a bit of sketching... as always, this is being played out of the images in my head. Aka "Winging it".
Sizing a bay. I believe these bays would fit a Valk, Stormtalon, and/or Stormraven. Not that it really matters...
Trimming down the bay. This main piece will be sectional. The trick is to get it to be really, REALLY solid...but still portable.
Insanity Base. Because that's what you have to be, to do stuff like this.

Not a lot of progress. Spackle has been applied as a test, seems to work as expected. The 'bowing' of the foamboard is fairly impressive. Note to seld and other, the spray foam takes a LONG time to fully 'cure', and it has the strength to deform/bow white foamboard, possibly pink/blue foamboard.
Bought paint, other stuff. Probably going to need more spackle, we'll see.
Acquired more plastruct sheeting for the floor of the destroyed landing bay.
