I'd be interested to see some ruined walls that detailed!

Nice, but i agree with Mikhaila: I've seen comprable and better from other companies.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby. |

Well that's the unfortunate part... the whole set costs 60 Euro... I'm still waiting on those other posters to find me some terrain with "equal or better" detail. The detail I'm refering to is on those fantastic runied walls.... I've never seen bricks that intricate.

These pieces are by Simon Harris, he of ex-forgeworld fame. These are very poor shots of what are actually incredibly detailed pieces, well above anything Simon did for FW. I actually saw a couple of the things he was doing for them at Salute in London (back in April). Hopefully better shots will be forthcoming, and this is only one of several sets he did for them.

Another note about Harris- he's done some incredable scenery work for Hasslefree miniatures as well. Check out his harrem- it's damn good from a miniature and an engineering perspective.

I'm still waiting on those other posters to find me some terrain with "equal or better" detail. Wasn't aware I needed to show proof of a statement to have an opinion.) I don't care enough to take pictures or find pictures, so I guess I retract my statement and change it to. "OMG, that stuff rocks! Look at those ruined bricks!!"

Mikhaila, i'm with Drake Marcus. Not because I intend to be snide, but because I want to buy it.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be a jerk, just admitting defeat.) I suck with a camera, and don't know where I got half of my scenery, a lot of it was from small tables at gaming cons. I also make a lot of my own stuff now, after spending way too much money on really cool hotwire and sculpting tools, so it's been a while since I purchased a lot of my stuff. Not a clue where some of it came from. So due to ignorance and laziness, i can't offer up much information.

Darn. Anyone else? I've got a really extensive list of great scenery makers with websites, but if it's a little company that sells at cons they might not have a site or enough recognition that I'd have stubled on them yet.

Armorcast used to make some truly spectacular resin terrain pieces, but I'm pretty sure you know about them (and that they've long stop production on them). With these, they're very nice pieces, but I know I can find just as detailed stuff available via Verlinden, VLS or others that offer museum quality dioramics for scale modelers. Just not pre-painted.

Hirst Arts stuff doesn't rock everyone's boat, but Antenocitii's Workshop make a better than average job of it: http://www.barrule.com/workshop/index.html They have some pretty cool resin Sci-fi stuff as well.
