I used the technique that LBrusley wrote, but I continued with the lightning. But I'm not going to use that on my humans in the gang.

I have thoughts of maybe making a witch hunter army, that have space marine as an ally. Who knows

The captain looks great. In fact, all of these guys so far look great. I love the colors, and the raggedness, and the subtle sense in these soldiers of something gone hideously wrong. I'm really enjoying this plog.

Anyway. Nice stuff, your conversions are great and your painting isn't to shabby either!

What colours are you using for the blue pants/jeans/trousers, or the method you use to do it? It looks dry-brushed but in what stages?

Haha that's not going to happen, I already have a girlfriend and I never lettin' her go.

Anyway, the basepaint is a mix of three vallejo game colours: 40%Falcon turquoise, 30%Black and 30%Sombre grey. I first base with this, then I shade them with the same colour with som extra black and very much water. When this shade has dried I put some very thin brown in the holes. After that the first shadepaint and mix some white and falcon turquoise. If it's tot hick I apply some water and start paint all the standing out things(My english is not that so bear with me). Then I just continued to apply a little bit of white and water until I'm satisfied.
I Hope it help you a little bit.

When I started the gang I thought I just do some mutants, lowlife scumbags and some old rusty servitors.The second thought was that they had something common. The first common is the blueish clothes.
When I then named the gang it got Solar guardians, just because of their leader that is an inquisitor. To mark this I made a little part of every model white, to show the "solar" on them. With that in mind i think it's get more fun to paint them. I'm going to write some fluff to the gang when I have some time.

Oh and LFF66, can I tag along Shockwave if he coming to visit you in gothenburg?

Hi everyone, I know that it's been awhile, but I had much in school right now and some other stuff. But I managed to get some time for blood bowl, the pc game and I love it. I got so inspired so I painted one of my gobbos. I hope you like him, he's one of my favourite in the team:

I use a mix of 70/30 boltgun metal/ tinny tin as base(boltgun from GW/ tinny from Vallejo game paints, I think the tinny tin is the same colour as tin bitz).
Then as wash I use a mix of 60/40, dark brown and black.
When the wash have dried I make a colour of chainmail and tinny tin(like the mix that I use as base, but I use chainmail instead of boltgun).
For highlightning the mix is the one before but with space wolf grey in it and use it on edges.
