Except turboboosting specifically says that the unit may do nothing else that turn. This includes things which may have taken place before the truboboosting.

If you cast fortune first, then you may not turboboost because then you would be breaking the turboboosting rule.

Jeez, sourclams, you're right, I'm wrong! Don't know what part of that I didn't get at first but after your last explanation it made 'click' so loud that my colleagues turned their heads to see what had happened.

I actually retract this prior point of view. My reaction was premature and the assumption that the triangles determine which part of the vehicle is located where apparently does not stand up to scrutiny. The vast majority of players that I know either on various fora or in RL simply make a very different call. Secondly and perhaps even more importantly, a turret located in the rear triangle cannot determine the cover save or the facing but must always be part of the facing that the firer stands in. If it were rear indeed and someone shoots at you from the front or side without any obstacle inbetween, then what? That firer would face two overlapping facings, which is simply nonsense. Alternatively, the turret could be in the facing the firer is in sometimes (unobstructed LoS) and part of the rear facing at other times (obstructed LoS), but frankly I do not see that supported by anything in the rules. Anyone sees more than I do?

True, fortune comes before movement. But if you've used fortune that turn, you've forfeited your ability to subsequently turboboost since you'd be breaking the rule that prohibits doing anything else in a turn that you turboboost.
