People seem to forget that the emperor "consumes" 10,000 ((give or take a 0)) psykers a day!

I mean when you consider how large the imperium is thats not much but still...

it seems like a loosing battle.

All the same I play Guard because I like em!

but if I was in the 40k universe, as a human I would probably consider the allternative. gakky life or fighting for honor and defence of LIFE!

If all else fails I might just join the Sob.

Come on, that's the sort of boring torture Inquisitors use. We have much more interesting things to do to you...

And it can be helpful for you to keep your teeth, then if you're made into a grotesque you have an additional weapon and will earn more praises and rewards. Good servitude should always be recognised.

Your ideas are so... unrefined. Good for arena and spectacle, not so much for the exquisite slow torture and torment that refines a soul from a crude mon'keigh to something glorious. But to their own tastes.

For me it's either
A) keep this nifty heavy flamer that an inquisitor gave me
B) keep this nifty heavy flamer that an inquisitor gave me and use it to kill loyalists
C) keep this nifty heavy flamer that an inquisitor gave me and join the Eldar
D) keep this nifty heavy flamer that an inquisitor gave me but end up having it used on me by Dark Eldar
E) keep this nifty heavy flamer that an inquisitor gave me and become a mind controled Tau slave thing
F) Die.

statistically I have a 2/3 chance of keeping my heavy flamer and staying alive.

Hang on a sec, don't the Chaos Legions know that fighting for chaos has a slim chance of them earning anything worthwhile, but they continue to do do so simply because they know that either way their souls are going to be consumed by their new "gods"?

Prefering the hot way to kill my enemies instead of cold.. if that makes sence.

Although given the chance I could catch someone and give them the worst last 3 weeks of their life. AND bring them back from the dead for more.

One of three things will happen to members of Chaos Legions:

a)Death on a battlefield
b)Spawnhood
c)Daemonhood

they all fight for option c) because in that case their souls won't be consumed by the gods!

Possibly because a human's soul is rarely strong enough to maintain consciousness in the warp, and the gods don't consistently torture every soul they get.

we ask you nicely to join the 'greater good' so that all races in the empire may prosper! If we were turning humans into slaves, why would we share our advanced technology with you? Feed you? Clothe you? Trade with you even when your not apart of the empire?

yes see its for the betterment of all the species in the galaxy! Except of course..nids/orks/necrons/chaos since these races are incapable of reasoning for peace and strive for nothing but the annihilation of all life
