Back from Hurricon!

We had some new models on display at the con: Otter Ashigaru, Tanuki Samurai, and Fox Shinobi! These three are October releases, and are currently up for preorder on our website.

Also announced at Hurricon this weekend was Brushfire - Naumachia the first expansion for Brushfire. Naumachia will bring naval warfare rules to Brushfire in addition to adding new Troops and Heroes to each Historia Rodentia faction, in one free to download PDF. Naumachia is currently in its play testing phase, but we expect to release it in early 2011.

I was hoping to have more pics for you today, but my painting keeps getting interrupted by customers/retailers orders. So here is a clearer & further WIP of the Tanuki Samurai w/Greatsword that you can kinda see in the Hurricon photo.



Working on him and the Otters today in between other stuff, going to pass the Foxes onto Mike (Painter of the Gophers) as I think he'll do an amazing job on them.

The Tanuki are on 40mm bases, and have options for Swords, Wakizashi, Greatswords, and Bows.
The Otters are on 30mm bases, and have options for Pikes, Bows, Rifles, and Pavises.
The Foxes are on 30mm bases, and have options for Daggers/Kunai, and Sickle & Chain

All three units also come with three separate head choices.

We will also be releasing a separate bits pack at later point that will provide Japanese style back banners. We're releasing these separately to keep down the costs for the Ribenguo models, and we felt that not every player would want to place banners on all of their models, and also that some players of other games might enjoy having 30mm scale back banners for their models.

Are you planing having just the heads avalible?

Will these be blisters as well? I'd like to get a samurai blister.

If there is enough demand for it, I believe we can do these as bits. But as a standard its alot more trouble then its worth to do individual bits.

Its a likely possibility that Ribenguo blisters will show up around the same time as their Warband Boxset.

That will depend on if there is demand for them to be singles or doubles. But it shouldn't be too much difference PPM then the Squad Box.

So our initial casting of Hamster Berserkers got lost in the mail stream between our replicator and our HQ, which has caused a significant delay in their getting into folks' hands. We've gotten our replicator to recast the them and ship them out again. Tracking information (which wasnt included last time for some reason) shows they'll be here tomorrow. Since the packaging is all ready, preorders will be shipping out tomorrow afternoon to customers and stores!

We're rather happy about finally getting these out, and we're really sorry that it too so much longer, that we're going to extend the DELAY10 coupon, its now good until Sunday! So go ahead and enjoy an extra 10% off while it lasts!

Well, when playing Brushfire, you can launch several of these little buggers inside one of those balls as a trebuchet ammo.

We're hoping to a bit more touring about, so we've proposed the question of what conventions you'd like to see OTLG at in 2011? We'll most likely have to stay in the states, but if there is enough demand to go pond hopping we'll look into it.

Post here or in our forums. Bonus points if you've got an LGS in the neighborhood of a convention you'd like us to demo at.

We've looked into some, but they have the habit of not returning our e-mails or having stupid requirements for dealers (like dealers don't handle money, everyone pays then convention, and then the con mails the dealer a cheque)
