GW doesn't feel much of a direct impact from discount retailers. The discount retailer gives GW the same margin as any other retailer. The only impact discount retailers have on GW's profit is when a player buys from the discount retailer instead of directly from GW. Whether you buy from a non-GW non-discount store or a discount retailer, GW gets the same amount of money per box.

The Bestigor plastic set suffers from the same problem, even more so because the army is not as popular as Empire. I have purchased plastic Bestigors through eBay at significant discounts. One set I got for less than half price including the shipping.

I didn't buy any GREATswords as I got enough with the Battalion and Brigade boxes.
