If I were to guess on the Battleforces break down I'd guess:
-Warriors
-Raider
-Talos/Cronos
-Reavers or Hellions
...with the $95 or $105 price tag.

wow now i get it... but yah why wont they make a box and i think they will make it just like the old one. 5 reaver (or hellions for that mather) 20 warriors and a raider.

I think if they did 20 troops they'd split it half wyches and half warriors. I'm kinda guessing the talos, or otherwise something else is in there that hasn't been released or else I think they would have released a battleforce by this point. Or they can just be using it as a way to sweeten the deal, later on, to get people who were on the fence about starting DE, in which case it could really be anything in it.

What would be so hard about doing a DE Battleforce?

10 Warriors
10 Wyches
3 Reaver Jetbikes
1 Raider

That's pretty standard.

Sounds about right like. Though might be 20 Warriors instead of the Raider? (not to be taken as a rumour)

What if the Battleforce is one of the four plastic boxed sets?

I can't remember what/when the last battleforce release was, they seem to be slowly dying out.

Obviously,there's nothing difficult about putting a Battleforce together. I would say GW held off on the Battleforce box because they want to see how well DE will sell before committing to one.

Yeah, I don't get the price for the ravager. $40 would have been great, $45 is what I expected, $49.50 just makes me ask "wtf?". It's almost exactly the same model, just with two extra guns and a couple sails thrown in. Is that really worth almost $17? Really?

I like how the shock prow bit only comes with the ravager kit, too. An upgrade which you wouldn't even want to put on your ravagers to begin with, that you'll need at least 4-5 bits for if you want to put them on all your raiders (and you do).

The Ravager has an entire extra sprue. Its cost is completely in line with the Raider's cost.

we pay 26 euro for the raider and 36 euro for the ravanger. i looks like its cheaper in holland as 1 euro is worth 1,365.
10 euro would be 13,65 dollar so its cheaper in holland WTF?

So if this has been posted I apologize, but have you noticed on the box cover of the Ravager the three sailed barge. Could it be the Dais of Destruction?

Converting 30 of the buggers from Flagellants and Hormagaunts is a pain in the ass.

Oh btw... Check out the VOR Neo Soviet Cyclops models for Grotesques. If GW release Grotesques and they're as good as those, I'll be very shocked.

Those are pretty handy grotesques... if I wanted to field grotesques.

I dunno, I've been making wracks from Flagellants and Crypt Ghouls (with the enclosed helmets from wyches, reavers) and they look pretty good, IMO. A little extra work, for sure, but not something I will replace when the wrack box set comes out. Additionally, been able to make some pretty sweet Haemonculi from the Flagellant robes plus wych torsos, warrior arms, ghoul heads, and miscellaneous bits from Chaos SM, Marauders, Orks, etc.

The conversions that have taken time have been the Venoms, but I'm satisfied with them now.

i can conclusively deny the existence of a DE batteforce in February (or any time in the next few months)
