Sorry about the vagueness, and it was quite recently too, Internet but had a unit of DE (Trueborn??) which gave me lots of lovely attacks against something (a vehicle I believe??) and after rolling to hit I was left with 21 opportunities to roll the 6's I needed to glance the enemy. 21 dice? No worries, 3 or 4 sixes on a bad day easily!?! I guess you can tell what's coming? Not one sodding 6 out of 21 dice!!!!! I was horrified!

I know people always say their rolling is poor, but mine REALLY is! I sometimes wonder if I should just give if all up!

Or employ a Romanian to roll for me!

HIS FIELD COLLAPSES JUST AS I RUN OUT OF BLOODY ATTACKS!!! 120 WOUNDS TO SAVE AND THE LAST SHITEY ONE!

And if he hadn't of killed the warboss, I would have insta-killed him with that afterwards.

Game ends, he scores a draw with one archon who is effectively now armoured in bogroll left on the pitch surrounded by a sea of orks.

I really needed to get that off my chest...

If you were tied before that point and he killed your warboss then wouldn't he actually have won?

Well I'd have to say my worst luck so far(haven't been playing all that long) was when I dropped 5 terminators onto the board and the got cut down right away by a squad of gaurdsman... ouch... alot of ones on my part.

Thought I might quickly metion an opponents bad luck.

We were about 3-4 hours through a 6 hour long 'capture the buliding' game (yes, I know that that isn't a real name) when he started moving a devastator squad up my flank. now, the only units i had in a position where they could fire at him, were scouts. pathetic, weak, scrawny scouts. I shot anyway, to see if i could hit him (didn't think it was likely). The devastators were at the far end of a shotguns range, so this meant all my (6) units could fire. they all hit. And the shot that killed one of his Rocket-Launcher toting Devastators, was a shotgun blast. His face was amazing once he realised what happened.

5 man assault terminator squad wiped out in a single turn with 4 lasguns. Although in the same game that particular opponents favorite unit, his 10 stormtrooper squad, were unlucky. They had ended their turn disembarked from a vendetta. I had a single marine with a missile launcher behind them and he had completely forgot him. Krak missile to rear armor, penetrating hit, the vendetta exploded and managed to kill the whole stormtrooper squad in the explosion.

I was playing nids on nids. My Swarmlord was just about to take out the other guys last unit when...Swarmlord tried to do leach essence but go a perils of the warp and died. Losing the game.

When I had a SM army:

TURN 1:
Land Raider moves into dangerous terrain... rolls.. fails. Immobilized.

Other guy shoots it will lascannon... Land Raider goes BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

Haha, it happened to a guy I was playing against who used Dark Eldar. Don't know what the name of the squad was, but he assault my fire warriors with a buncha guys who had like 3 attacks each. He lost all his guys, I lost 2 fire warriors. We were both shocked! Haha!

I had quite some awesome impossible bad luck rolls, most noteably twenty guardsmen on a rooftop firing FRFSRF into my 5 bikernobz and a bikerwarboss. 40 shots hit on a 4+, wound on a 6+, 4+ armor/cover, FNP, equals to... 11 wounds! Killed all but one nob and left one wound on the warboss.

Though the most epic appearance of Miss Fortune was during a game between me and my common eldar opponent:

Eldar went first, primary kill points, secondary objectives, tertiary table quarters, Spearhead, Turn 7. I am 1 point ahead in killpoints.

Eldars Turn:
Serpent rams flat out over 24"(yeah, exactly 24") and hits battlewagon in the side arc for S10 hit on both vehicles. Battlewagon stunned, reduced to shaken. Serpent was not glanced.
Six Dire Avengers bladestorm at a wounded nob and three boyz left from a shoota mob. Three wounds. They go to the ground, one 6+ save made. Nob kills last boy with boss pole and makes his moral check.
Farseer with more dire avengers finally reach a rokkit kopta that has been shooting and assaulting a fire prism since turn 1. After the immobilized in the first turn, it did nothing but sometimes shake it for seven turns. The dire avengers all miss. The farseer shots the kopta with his pistol and kills it, taking the last wound off.
Said Fire Prism shoots the small blast at BigMek and Warboss (deadly duo) out in the open to instant-death the bigmek. Scatters 1" after BS, hits only the bigmek. Wound allocated to warboss who fails his save but has two wounds left.

My turn, now drawn on killpoints, eldar controls two objectives, contests two more, quarters are drawn.
Deff rolla the ramming serpent. Dodge.
Ork boyz charge the serpent that rammed the battlewagon. They blow of all weapons, immobilize it. Nob auto-hits, glances three and penetrates one attack, gives it a good shaking.
The deadly duo attacks five dire avengers(yeah, they're everywhere... as well as smoldering wave serpent wrecks) on an objective. Combi-Scorcha hits them all, wounds none(Yahtzee!). In the assault, the dire avengers fail to wound them due to warboss toughness. The bigmek uses his burna as energy weapon, fails to hit even a single one. Warboss smashes three into the ground, the exarch and the last avenger fail moral. Sweeping advances at I6 for them and I3 for the duo. Eldar: Orks:

I end my turn, winning the game by one kill point. What a bunch of failed rolls(on both sides!) during that game. I also managed to blow all six eldar rocket launchers off the serpents before destroying or a single one. My lootaz now officially have Prefered Enemy: Eldar Rocketlaunchers.

3 turns of constant deep strike mishaps with my daemons, resulting in them being returned to the warp.

Turn 5, 8/13 squads. DIE. God damn mishaps!

also i had one guardman in range of a devistator squad my friend says "you might as well not fire that you not going to do any thing with it" i kill his lascannon marine

I rarely use plasma weapons. I have the uncanny ability to roll a 1 on Gets Hot! and then roll another 1 on my armour save... oh, and this is almost always on the first turn. It's happened to the same Plasma Cannon two games in a row.

In almost every game, my Chaos Dreadnought runs a 1 on the Crazed rule, so he shoots at my own figures. As we have just deployed, it's usual that I lose 1 or 2 men at it... :(

6 5-man legion of the damned squads deep striking into a 5,000pt guardsmen vs guardsmen & marines game- jam packed board. each squad has an error margin of 1" or less.
All bar one of them hit, without the need to re-roll.
the ONE squad that mishaps takes no losses and the multi-melta in the squad rolls a 3, then a 6, then a 6, 6, 6, destroying the nearby hellhammer (?) in one shot causing a S10 hit 23" in diameter, destroying a platoon of guardsmen, a leman russ and wiping out a squad of terminators accompanying brother-captain stern.
that's fairly unlikely.
