The weather coupled with the events going on in the store besides us would have made things sketchy anyways.

Perhaps Langstaff isn't the best GW for us to be at.

**edit** I'm still looking for games though, and have a 6x4 table at my place to play, if anyone doesn't feel like making the trek to a GW or LGS, I'm right off the 401.

Hey all!

Due to work being a total tool (which they do well), I wont be in the city for the last weekend of march (26-27), but as looks right now I'm good to go for the 1st weekend of April (1-3).
Dunno if any thoughts have been put into a meetup for then as of yet.

Well lets start brainstorming for the next meet. Since Skarshak can't make it, the location is still up in the air. This one was scheduled for a GW and the Idea was to make the 2nd one a FLGS.

Any suggestions? I no longer have a car so close to TTC.

My car only has gas expendable for work and school, therefore TTC is my only means of transportation as well. I would go to Langstaff, but I'm too lazy to learn the bus route there. Anything on Yonge Street is most convenient for me.

I'm limited by TTC and budget. So, depending on the state of my finances at the moment, Langstaff may be out. I listed all the ones I can make it to before. Other than being accessable by TTC, I dont really care.

on younge, just North of Lawrence station is one of the better GWs around, I see you guys are talking about being limited by TTC, well thats in the center of Toronto and is probably the best place, provided you can get around being at an actual GW, to game, since they have multiple 6 x 4 tables (no I did not read the whole thread just what my buddy linked me on msn)

CGB crunched me in our first match, stupid 425 pts or reinforcements that failed to arrive all game!

Thats the plan, I plan to be in the city for a few days - March 30th to April 3rd, though seeing that im traveling by bus to get there I dunno if i'll be bringing my gear to play. Either way it'll be great to wage war with ya all!

The Lawrence GW & Dueling Grounds are the 2 ill be closest to!

well I can get my Fathers van for the day on Sat. but I need to know if people are going to show and where we are meeting. The last major event was on the 5th and no one else but CGBSpender went to it. Sorry CGBSpender. If we are not meeting this Sat. then we can set one up for the 2nd. but I need confirmation so I can call ahead.

I'm ok with dueling grounds. Never been there, but I'd like to check it out. How many tables do they have, and do they sell models and modelling supplies. I need more green stuff.

Dunno about how many tables they have there, but I do know they have a good supply of models and supplies!
Last time I was there (its been a few months) they had said they were expanding their warhammer section, so hopefully you'll find what your looking for!

They have quite a few tables. Last time I was there they ran a 14-person tournament without having space issues.

Someone may want to call and see if there's another event going on though, as I'm not so sure Wayne would be willing to give up space if he has a Magic event going on.

OK just called, very friendly staff. Guy said that we don't have to book anything, Saturday is their actual 40K day, and that we should be able to get tables no problem.

I'll be showing up at 11:00 AM to get as many games in as possible, I'll bring 1750 pts and make lists for 1500 and 1000 too.

Don't put me down as a definite. I'm not a huge fan of Dueling Grounds and I'm trying to pick up Fantasy so if I have the day free I may end up at Langstaff
