GW increases Finecast prices by 25% across the board next year, because they've found a way to make their detail EVEN MOAR AMAZING!! Models remain exactly the same.

GW sues the internet. All of it.

Tired of their LGSs and their "free-riding", GW only sells product via their website and retail stores. Retail outlets continue to close.

Noone has done that one before, so its a new one. How about a 25% price rise on all price rises to account for raising standards of production by moving to resin which is 25% better quality. Makes sense doesnt it.

I think you meant to say the second price rise is to cover the cost of the staff changing the prices on the boxes from the first raise.

I'm guessing the stats for all units will be removed from the army books and replaced with packs of sealed, random, stat cards (CCG style) and you need a separate stat card for each unit in your army.

Im guessing the soft and bendy plastics are simply the next step on the slippery slope that is Pre-Painted Plastics...

Pre painted plastics would be corporate suicide. Then again, GW has had numerous accounts of corporate suicide over the years and is still alive (and probably will continue to do so, even after the embargo and FailCast nonsense).

Perhaps, as a corporate entity, GW is unliving? Me thinks we need to vote with a shotgun rather than our wallets.

Actually, no. Prepaints wouldn't be that bad. Prepaints of troops like goblins or skaven would be a stroke of genius. Of course, it's a matter of price. My guess would be that cheaper PPs with less details would sell like a blowjobmachine that prints money. The original, unpainted ones should stay, of course. And you should stay away from anything bigger than the mass troops...

Anyway...my predictions?
Another two or three 10-20% rises until 2013.
Removal of metal bits packs.
Putting down the SGs entirely.
A bunch of campaign books 30€ a pop for The Hobbit, Re-Re-Re-Release of the fellowshop and Gandalf and Aragorn No. 12, both of which will cost 17,50€/1.

PPP Troops would be a good idea, in theory.

However, you know what they say about the difference between Theory and Practice.

GW would propably make the PPP more expensive than the regular kits and then wonder why they didnt sell like hot cakes. Perhaps they would sell when players are rushing a Tournament list, but I cannot see any need for these myself.

It would then be typical GW to phase out the regular kits, leaving ONLY PPP, in order to drive sales of the more expensive box.

Oh, this is gonna give many nightmares.

If they do that then a fair few of their buyers are goin to move onto other games as painting and modelling can be a big part of the hobby for them.

Step 1. Go back to metal, tell to use some kind of new and super improved casting process and double the prices. Leave some of the Finecast products to be available, change the name to Finestcast and triple the price.

Step 2. Stop retail sell completely. Nobody is allowed to see or touch products without buying them. Get the prices up more because of the lost sales.

Step 3. Release one figure per year, costing one trillion pounds. Needs only one customer and no need of any service, sales folks or web sites. Lay off all staff expect one. Get stock people very happy.

- Lawsuit against Mantic.
- 5 model boxes for everything, priced at £20-25.
- Everything metal converted to finecast. Issues with miscasts do not improve.
- White Dwarf up to £5
- Army books up to £25-£30.
- All battleforces/ battalions raised to £70, with £80 worth of models in them.
- Banning independent retailers from selling at a discount from RRP.
- Specialist Games removed from sale.

I decided to keep my list realistic because it's scarier that way.

They will change the world RRP to reflect Australian and NZ prices

They will not sell to any internet seller, anywhere, only theirs

They will abolish paper books and codex... and deliver all on eBook... the new GW eBook reader (5 inch screen, B&W, and not compatible with any other style)

And yes, I agree, they will be a BL eBook reader... not compatable with the GW one

Damm... all this sounds logical
