Looks really amazing after skimming the blogs of attendees and seeing everything here on Dakka. If I did a coast to coast for 40k it would be this one.

odd... your opponents scored you low for sports? 7/30? But with the 1-6 ranking system for sports I'm sure that they other players enjoyed it too... but its hard to give good scores in that system
But i agree. I also have 5/6 games vs top quality opponents.
Da boyz seems to attract some very good players at it and I look forward to it next year! Just reading through the names there are sooo many good players on the list! Next year I guess I'll bring a serious list

I had a blast all weekend. Stayed up til 3am every night drinking and playing board games. This is going to be a yearly ritual for me.
I'm a little sad to see screamer star take the doubles and Jetstar take singles but that's the nature of the beast now, short of banning allies and giving each army a restrictions list (0-1 farseers 0-5 warlocks can take jetbikes for example) there isn't much you can do. Someone will find a way to break the system.
@Jay: those tokens you guys had made were fething awesome, do you sell them by any chance?

Problem with sportsmanship no matter what format is people will score their friends higher, and there is a big group of friends there.

Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

Agreed... but the odds are against that happening. I only played one person I knew. In a crowd of 120 its hard to play people you know! (unless you all win or all lose!)

If I wasn't busy cooking turkey, I would write all kinds of stuff about how awesome this event was. My hat is off to Jay/Shaun/Chris and the rest of DaBoyz. Once again a great event, great venue and great time.

I meant those poker chips. Such a great idea.

Yea the poker chips were my idea. Everyone got one complete set. You always put dice on the objective for the Mysterious Objective and it gets moved or picked up. This way you never forgot what you have. We also had at every table the full description (below the table number attached with a clothes pin) of each of the mysterious objectives. No need to go looking in the rule book. We did sell them at the event. I believe we only have a handful left over.
