Update time, I must say it was nice to have some time off (working for a Swiss guy, so not really) now I'm getting back into my work, now I need a little paint and to let the gloss medium dry before I finish the drainpipes.

Heres the dirt.

Since this is 40K...

Bushes and the still wet pond.

I also playtested it a little yesterday and its a mean bugger, let me tell you, need to figure out the rules still.

Hi all!! I' sorry but real life stuff keeps me away from the hobby. I study hard for a certification and also want to steal some time in order to get married!
excellent works so far! I'll watch from afar...

Astra Militarum
Iron Warriors Army: Enyo Company
Enyo (Greek: Ενυώ, English translation: "warlike" in Greek mythology; Roman: Bellona), was an ancient goddess of war, acting as a counterpart and companion to the war god Ares. She is also identified as his sister, and daughter of Zeus and Hera in a role closely resembling that of Eris; with Homer in particular representing the two as the same goddess. As goddess of war, Enyo is responsible for orchestrating the destruction of cities

Finally managed to get something resembling an update. Total lack of any recent progress is due to Uni work. I've got the rest of the models assembled and started on forming the base and layout. I'll continue developing the base and have a better update up tomorrow.
As far as the layout I'm pretty much set but I'm slightly unsure if it seems too busy. Considering possibly removing a Dryad, most likely the one in the bottom corner. Any thoughts on this?

Is it too late to enter this? If not, can I enter a series of themed terrain? I think the collection I'm building for my new 40k table might fit the theme.

Never too late. Upto the guys if multi part entries ok. But I have no bother.

Ok, I'm going for it, without the multi-part thing. It'll just be one piece - I've sussed out how to get all the elements into my current piece.

Started this a couple of weeks ago. Wanted a centrepiece for my 40k table. Started with a thin cut of mdf, and built a frame out of foam core. Built up the slope with foam core off cuts. The arch is an old aquarium decoration.

Bulked it up with paper mâché (it's a big piece, and I didn't want to put my back out every time I moved it.) then used an old tub of tile grout as a spackle.

I was a bit hasty drying it out on a radiator, and the ply warped, so I had to build up the edges with wood filler, then sanded and gritted the piece all over. I added more columns to make the structure larger.

I've done a little more tonight, but not worth taking any pics yet.

water (it will need a couple of days to clear up)

and a smouldering flamer tank, my sad excuse for fire.

@eggs- you can always glue shims to the underside to level things, then add filler. You'll use less filler this way. Tile grout, yep. The kind with sand and without. Amazingly durable stuff, even when spread over that white styrofoam.

@mad_eddy whay are you using for a water effect? nice looking piece.

Some great stuff. Saddens me that I have not had any time to do anything. But at least I can cheerlead a bit. That is fun too.

Woodland Scenics Water Effects and a piece of plastic bag - I plan on more water soon, it comes in a big bottle and is very handy...

Hey guys, I made progress!

This is sort of boring, not really what you'd expect in a military bunker...

So I added duckboards/traction plates...

And a door in that side passage, could be handy for scenario games...

Unfortunately my water is still a little milky but its getting better, slowly.

Anyhow thats all for now, I might ad some more to the inside, but its pretty cramped in games as it is so maybe not I was fiddling with electric lights but those can go in later, I can't find my battery holders, two of the three lights and it takes two months for the resistors to ship so its probably not going to happen ah well such is life, I'll do some weathering and then she's done (for now
