After the Legion formations of 7th made Great Company N'Ton a reality, I was disappointed by the 8th edition rules for Noise Marines (still going to build the Company, just a little disappointed) but with the Legion focus rules out today I'm very much looking forward to finishing them! Striking first with berserk gunplay as well? Yes please

Cyrus is one of the Terminator champions of Great Company N'Ton. A veteran of the last battles of the Steel Wars, he bears an arcane pair of lightning claws whose blades deal such savage wounds none are immune to their touch.
In 7th he had the Gifts of Chaos that granted him +1 WS and Poisoned (4+) on his claws.
I've gone for studded armour pieces to give him an ancient look to his armour as well, and despite the damage to the top of his torso I think it's worked. What are your thoughts?

Toman leads a score of warriors in service to N'Ton El'Oban. His substantial cybernetics were crafted by the Taghmata Hvergelmir after he was nearly killed defeating a daemon machine of the Steel Brethren

Eastern edge

Good looking characters there, can't wait to see them painted up!

Dragons fear nothing, if it acts up, we breath magic fire that turns them into marshmallow peeps. We leaguers only cry rivets!

Still need to put in a lot of work but his armour is almost there. Added the backpack to give him some of the white wolf fur on his gear. He'll have a studded shoulderpad in keeping with the mk V armour design.
In 7th he had the +1 W and FnP, hence the bionics. He's also quite tall for a standard marine

Just grabbed the new Death Guard codex; the Grey Wardens will be getting seriously buffed!

Thinking converted Kataphron to stand in for Myphitic Blight-Haulers. Also unbelievably keen to add flails and great axes to Grey Warden squads and terminators. Also, actual cataphractii!!!

As the second-string cousins of the Space Wolves, the Wolfbrothers often need to improvise their equipment to a degree. Sometimes this takes the form of heavy stub weapons over standard bolters, or melee weapons over any ranged weapons. Other times, it requires they utilise dangerous captured weapons taken from their foes. This is one of the latter.

Haven't decided what Company will utilise this beauty, but I'm leaning towards the Ward-Wulfen intensive Company Burqhart. For those who don't know the size of this, here it is next to a Knight

I got these guys from a friend a while back, and I'm sorting out getting some more. They're the Pupetswar Valhalla termos type armour, and I think they look pretty sweet. I'm not % sure on the heads, but for now they'll do.
I was struck by the similarity between these and the armour worn by my Sisterhood (Prodos Space Crusade) models, so I came up with this idea:

The tech-priests of the Wolfbrothers, always trying to increase the capacity of their Chapter, learned how to craft such suits from the Dragon Temple of Hebdanod. Modified for Marine and not Sister, they were found to be very similar to exoskeletal work rigs used throughout the navy and hive worlds. While not as effective as true terminator armours, they were still seen as a massive improvement over the hodge-podge warplate favoured throughout the Chapter. Even in the mid 42nd millenium, with a greater production capacity provided by the Taghmata Hvergelmir, new suits of this type are still created.

So, some very low quality work on my Dreadclaw paint scheme, but it's taking shape. A few more coats of the grey, then 2 edge highlights and that'll be done, wash the metals and highlight up to runefnag steel. The brass will be edged, and the brown panels take up to bone white. I'll print some decals of the wolf's head to put on those too. He'll be based standing upright, on the blasted rock of the Sigma III asteroid complex; the first and only mass deployment of Dreadclaw pods by Company Burqhart when they relieved Companies Kolbeck and Lugus at the end of the Steel War

Looking back, I'm not happy with Truvor Ironbound. He's one of the first models I made, but it never seemed to match the lore I'd build up for him. He's the first successful space marine Inquisitor Rathmine created, he designed the plan to escape from the mad inquisitor and his pirates, he trained the first group of fighters, rescued the Herald and Holgir Bearclaw, and became the first living martyr of the chapter. On Cadia he led a squad of ill-equipped humans and killed ten Iron Warrior terminators. The previous model matched what I'd intended to build; almost a servitor in heavy plate, but it didn't match the story. Here's attempt 3, armed with a frost blade and armoured in the plate of the Iron Warrior champion he slew.

He'll be getting a bionic left arm with a combi weapon built into it
