Just a reminder that the Blackwater Gulch 2nd Edition pledge manager is closing on May 1st! All pledges and pre-orders received by that date will be included in our first wave of shipping, likely in August. Any orders placed after that date may have to wait for the retail release a month or 2 later.
Getting excited now that everything is coming together. The miniatures are being painted up now and the rules are just about done! I'll be posting photos of the new painted miniatures as I get them finished. Here is the first one, the Jersey Devil:
We're planning a new Kickstarter for some time this fall, after the current one is all shipped out. It will be a smaller campaign, just for new miniatures. We'll be getting some new sculpts done over the next few months, and here is the first one.. Tunka, a Werebison for the Beast faction. He'll be a resin ogre-sized model like the Jersey Devil. What do you think?
Another new sculpt! Here is a Native Zombie. He will come in a pack of 3, there will be 3 different poses total.
And as we're finishing up the rulebook and deck of loot cards, I decided I wanted to add a few new loot items, for cards that will come with the models. Here's some new loot art! There's the Unholy Blade, Bear Totem, Sack o' Cash, Brujah's Grimoire, Holy Water Flask and a Preacher's Bible.

Things are moving along nicely. We hope to have the rulebook finished up next week now that the proofreading is done. Today I just got pictures of the Jersey Devil, painted by Awaken Realms. Much more detailed than I could have done! Here he is, what do you think?
It's in the dakka gallery, so you can click the photo for a larger version.
Rulebook is done, we're going to be sending the files off to the printer next week! Expecting everything to be available in November finally. Here's the cover art
I think the way the timing is going to work out with the current new releases, the next campaign is probably going to have to wait till early next year. Mostly because I don't think a campaign will do as well during the xmas shopping season.. so I was thinking maybe doing it around the middle of January.
Already have it planned out, going to start off with the 4 different minion packs, 1 for each faction. And then stretch goals will be for solo characters, pretty much whoever we didn't get to last time.
We're almost done! All of the models are at the warehouse and they are preparing to ship! We will be shutting down our Pledge Manager this Friday. If you would like to pre-order and get your stuff before the retail release, you can head on over and order stuff now!
We're expecting the retail release to be some time next month beginning with the rulebook and 4 starter sets. Solo models will be released later, roughly every other week, but backers and those who preorder will receive everything first!
We're also planning a new Kickstarter to launch around the same time, with lots of new models for henchmen, minions, heroes and more. Stay tuned!
Just got a special message to share from ShipNaked!
Greetings Blackwater Gulch: Second Edition Backers!
As of January 22, 2018, we are preparing to pick, pack, and ship Blackwater Gulch: Second Edition reward packages out to you. We expect to begin shipping this coming week, January 27, 2018. If we run into any snags, we'll provide an update to Gangfight Games so they can let you know here. We’ll also provide them with another update once all picking, packing, and shipping is complete. You should receive a shipping notification to the email you included in your survey or pledge manager when your package label is printed or scanned through the local facility. Thank you for your support of Blackwater Gulch: Second Edition and Gangfight Games.

In other news, I'm going to be shutting down the Pledge Manager site. If you happened to miss it, just send me a message here and we'll get your pledge worked out. All of the new and old models will be available on our site at SkirmishGames.com. I'm planning to relaunch BWG with all of the 2nd Edition products on Feb 1st, and tentatively planning the Minions & Monsters Kickstarter to be probably on Tuesday Feb 12th. Here's a picture of some Outlaw Bandit minions that will be featured in the KS
Oh no! Hope it shows up soon. USPS is crazy sometimes, I sent a package to someone in Texas a while ago, priority mail. It took over a week instead of 3 days, and went from here in Philly to Virginia, to Nebraska, to Puero Rico (???), then Alabama, then Texas finally.

Yup, story checks out for the Texas mail system! I guess at least I get to meet my neighbors more as we're constantly getting each others stuff lol.
Looking forward to the 2nd campaign too!
EDIT: My stuff magically showed up today! Everything looks great, nice clean casts! I'm also really glad we ended up getting a hardback book
Only issue is I am missing an Ash. Sent you a message on kickstarter. Thanks!

Nice! Any chance we might see the Flying Zarconis? I recall they didnt make it in one of your other KS, and they always struck me as a cool weird west concept!
Yep I definitely want to do the Zarconis, trouble is doing a new gang is expensive and it would be a big stretch goal in a campaign.
I've been kicking around ideas for newer, smaller campaigns focused on new gangs, or redoing older ones.. but I think that will be easier if I am able to get my own 3D printer and do the production in house. I'd like to be able to do 2-3 quicker and smaller campaigns a year than one big one. But I worry the smaller ones will be tougher to fund since I still need to make around $1000 per mini just to break even. I'll see how it goes after the next campaign
Here is the Tall Man (formerly the Slender Man), painted by Angel Giraldez. In the KS campaign, we're going to be giving away this mini for free to anyone who backs on day 1
Pretty much just have to do the stretch goal images, then it'll be done. Also waiting on the sculpt for Tiny, but i don't think that will be done before launch. Planning to launch it on Tuesday, Feb 13 at around noon EST.

Beasts of War just posted a video previewing all of the new second edition models and also showing off some of the stuff for the new Kickstarter. Check it out
Blackwater Gulch is a Western Horror Skirmish Game. It's the late 1800's in a gold rush town where noble Lawmen, crooked Outlaws, savage Beasts and the malevolent Cursed all fight for control and dominance.
We just finished delivering our previous campaign and now are following it up with Minions and Monsters. In this campaign we hope to fund a variety of new miniatures for all factions and bring in some much needed reinforcements. Here is a list of some of the initial packs we are hoping to unlock with our main funding goal.
