FYI there are tons of Gems all over the Ravager and raider, that share the same design in the deck plate.

Looks to be a long flowing coat/cloak of some kind. And while I said early it is Lady Malys, she perhaps is riding something, as the base does look bigger?

Do all skimmers still come with clear bases?
Do DE have anything other than Skimmer type vehicles?

Not for nothing, but wasn't there a long dead (maybe even long-debunked) rumor about Vect having a model float around? Im a shameless Deldar player so Im more than happy to wishlist that.

But the truth of the matter is after seeing the hint of the obvious mechanicus hand(with the keys), I can only imagine that GW is bouncing back and forth between showing us 40k and AoS. If the Mechanicus stuff is definitely 40k, then the swirly staff and this flowing cloak I lean are definitely AoS.

No they don't. You get a few of those blister type things around the spars of the sail but thats it, no actual gems.

Yes, they come with the clear bases and other than Flyers DE have no vehicles that aren't skimmers.

I think it's an Aelf of some kind for Sigmar, they've just reused the design pattern for the Raider/Venom/Ravager decking as a texture on that cloak.

I think it's Vect or a DE unit. I can imagine whoever it is on a large throne like object as their robes flow over the vehicle. If it is a new "shadow kin" aelfs release they have ripped off the Dark Eldar aesthetics so badly and I'll be pissed.

If it's Vect I wanna take another look at that rumour ages ago stating all the characters getting new plastics and the new edition would be several different 'starter sets.'

I do think it might be Vect or at least some Dark Eldar character.

Because purple cloth is exclusive to the Dark Eldar? It's covered in gems, which is definitely not a Dark Eldar thing, more Craftworld if anything from 40K.

Dark Eldar can be pretty stylish. Robes made from some poor beastie's pelt, or silk cloak woven from some doomy silk worm thing. Plus they like to torment people, so stealing someone's spirit stone and fitting it on their pimp-ride wouldn't be too hard to imagine.

Except the Dark Eldar texbook has gems on it. The old Archon model also has a gem. It's not the purple cloth it's the raider symbols they ripped off badly if it is the new dark aelfs. Someone interposed the raider plate over it and it matches to a T. The modeler didn't do that by accident.

Nah those images are likely from a death model, but this one is definitely dark eldar. They also teased new mechanicus images and dwarves. Not all images they tease are from the same thing.

Last week's image is definitely Tzeentchian, as you can see the avian influences in the pattern as seen below:

We know Dark Eldar are coming, and mechanicus for 40k before 8th hits.

For Age of Sigmar/40k it looks like Tzeentch and new Dwarves with some sort of cool steampunk robits.

Sisters are likely coming but I doubt until 8th hits.

We don't know for sure, but it seems likely. I guess it's still a decent chance of a dark alefs curve ball in there. if we want to get into technicalities we never know for certain if the sun will rise the next day because any number of highly unlikely things could cause it not to, but that's a whole tangent.

You should also notice it's broken. Typically the only times Soulstones ever get used is as weapons (how I wish my Incubi could take the Bloodstone again).

This seems more like pie in the sky wishful thinking, no matter how much I relaly want DE to get an update I don't see it being soon.

More along the lines of craft world specifics, I'd love to see rangers be useful again, AP2 on a 5+ instead of 6 and some fluffy rules, possibly let them use battle focus with their long rifles and plastic minis

Hope we start to see some of this stuff soon, I'm I'm interested either way if this is shadowkin, dark eldar or eldar they always make for interesting places to get conversion bits from. Would be nice to see an expanded harlequin release though!

Scrz from thedarkcity might have cracked the case on the DE model. He looked back at these old rumors. More and more of these are coming true. I remember being ridiculoud quite a lot when I mentioned this rumor back then. That could explain the gems, and the strange vortex like thing in the previous rumor image.
I don't think the staff is DE related. Not enough knives attached to it.
The grit of the sand on the base under the cape/cloth looks like it is a smaller base in a really close up photo. The brush strokes on the model indicates the same. That the cloth looks like it is close to the ground could be a compression effect from the picture being taken with high focal length. Which means that the cloth does not have to be that close to he decking either. For instance it appears to have the same color but is not highlighted in the same way as the cloth , which is odd if it is directly connected. Then again, the small creases in the top and bottom left side, makes it look like the cloth is steeply angled upwards right there which in turn might mean that it IS something that is dragged along the ground like a cape.
Oh how I love to over analyze things...

Given that this looks Dark Eldar-ish and there's some Admech-looking stuff in the earlier hints too, could it be the next story progression book, this time including the Dark Eldar and Admech?

Craft world eldar are fine in regards to formations. The ones in the codex are strong, and the ones in Doom of Mymeara are fantastic. They're doing just fine

If it turns out it is Sythrac then that means we need to take a hard look at that 40k rumor since it paints a very good picture of things to come.

I meant to say I think the DE is that guy, I remember seeing Vect in the rumour so thought he was supposed to be the character.

Really hope this turns out to be true, all those new plastics seem glorious. I would buy every single set. He mentions the next books but how they aren't set in stone, this could really be just an outline as he states but the part about the EoT campaign, he mentions the SW and DA have to race to Cadia, isn't that exactly what they are doing at the end of WoM?

The rumour threw me off a bit with the Magnus being described as red armour and flying with wings but perhaps just mistook the red skin and outstretched wings as something else? The mid casting spell is pretty spot on, as is Kharn and Eldrad and Rubric Termies are almost spot on too.

I really want this to be true, mostly for the plastic KoS.
