They look awful Panda. And their rules are awful. And they should feel bad. Sonic Lancing Revanants are the best looking of the FW Titans to me. But I like dainty things, so, yeah.

When will this project of yours be complete? LVO is coming fast.

You and I definitely have different tastes. This project is likely to get the back burner to finish painting my army.

Warboss_Waaazag wrote:Legs look great. They stand well. I'm just hoping that when the rest of the body is applied to them that the center of gravity on them doesn't muck anything up.

Fun thing about center of gravity is that if you stack them on top each other from two different objects and have no drift in the x or y direction of the grid you will maintain cg!

Hence get the legs right and the hip won't mess with it as it adds a center force and the torso just needs to be a center force as well and you are done.

Dr H wrote:Nice pose on the legs. Look good where they are.

Thanks Dr!

So I had a small set back. In testing the standing of the titan I accidently got a metal washer stuck in the torso. Then another magnet. Thus I closed off the plug in the warhound. Well a saw later and drill I glued a metal washer into the hips to be flush and thus will still have the two join. Maybe even easier to separate! But you know trying to make the best of a mistake. No photos as glue is drying

There is going to be an immediate stop work on the titans. The forge world is being invaded and must deploy the skitarii ranks.

The dominuses are assembling for planetary defenses.

This will now become painting.

Cheers! you know how to make a panda blush.

Progress must continue for fear of being a potato. Well.. ok... wrong fear, but you hey you get me. I want this to be done for LVO. so basing couldn't be done due to the lack of pebbles to use on my bases.... But for now they are mostly color'd

Some strange artsy shot i made on a whim..

These are the current leaders of the 17th Delta 32nd Maniple.
They are left to right: Mr Clamps (Mr C.); Gramps; Carl; and Mr. Handy...

where am I? *looks around* Well i'm...errr...I...I...don't know!

Love the use of the Tempestus Scions power fist (at least I think that's what it is). What was wrong with the mud effect on it before? I rather liked it. It looked like some form of caustic mud that was bleaching the robes out!
They look fantastic though, the blue is very unusual but really gives them a cold vibe as Camkierhi mentioned. I'd be pretty pleased to see them opposite on the tabletop.

That is the correct power fist bit! I loved the fist and simply had to find a way to use it.

The main issue with the mud effect is that it was caused by the varnish going wrong. I couldn't consistently repeat the process for an entire army. I need a method that yields something colorful, and repeatable. I did like the really pale white tan of the dried out look of it.

I am curious why people think the blue is unusual. I am wondering if i am color blind or something...

If I ever find myself across the pond again, I would be happy to play you.

They hold bases from 25mm to 40mm, but are really nice and for the price a good buy.

Ha, yes! Nailed it!
Ah, the need for consistency makes a lot of sense. I liked it too, shame really. The blue is unusual because it is admech, who are almost always done in shades of red or orange.

Panda, if I buy a Warhound, will you build and paint it? I will either pay you, or buy appropriate level of models in exchange.

I too am a fan of the orange. Thank you kitten. I also got a new kitten in the house to hangout with and knock my stuff over.

I always take commision work. I would happily take on such a project. Pricing is subject to work load desired.

Anyways...

Hello dakka people who visit this thread. Good news i went to LVO. It was mega fun and i recommend more come to it. The ademch army did really well for me. I just wish i practiced more games so i knew what genesteeler cult and blood angels did.

I am going to be attending more GTs with this army and more. Photos will come tonight.

We left off on the war hound and should finish it tonight.

Also picked up some custodes, and space marine dreadnaughts, and 3 forge world knights. I will add the knights to this blog...maybe the other models as well.

No photos for now. Thanks for visiting.

Cheers cam. Here is where we stand fellow dakkamites

Warhound hull is completed...

Magnetizing the arms is something i am still trying to figure out how to complete. Also totally screw doing all the hydraulics on the warhound. So many...so many parts... egad.

This guy accidentally happened

He uh. is uh... hot stuff

Some admech WIPS....

Some LVO Match shots! Army did pretty damn well for me

How we got decide what we are doing next on this thread... there is about a dozen projects to choose from.
2 more warhounds, 2 more reavers, 2 more castellan knights...

We can break it up with some painting
*calculating painting backlog.exe crashed*

I can paint some titans or some Levithan or a dedredo... oh we can start custodes or necrons.

Dakka you choose...though i am not the best contributor any more... i try.

Something is always better than nothing. Good to see you still going.

Good table shots too.

I find that when I'm stuck for what to do next, roll a die. Then, when it inevitably chooses something you don't want to do roll it again until it chooses something that grips you.
It does help with the choice paralysis. Once you get going the creative juices should get flowing.
