Without derailing too much, he might A talk to people at several bases to organize such a thing, through their own group of some kind, and he was just the one to order (free shipping base to base once he has collected all).
B maybe they know he was doing that honestly as a few of the buddies are in the group too or any number of other options.
Thing is, you’re basing it on that one sentence, others on the group may know a lot more on what happened..

Yeah, I am basing it on that one sentence. I'm sure that others in the group know a hell of a lot more than I do!
As I said, I'm naturally a cynic, Doc seems to be the opposite. I applaud him for his apparent altruism but can't help but feel that the group is open to being abused.
Anyway, I love the Plaguecaster and will be picking one up when the time comes

It may well be, I’m not in it either!
Indeed, I look forward to seeing who else we get, and whether I will annoyingly have to pick several up (even if I don’t need more Bolter guys or whatnot, just because of a cool pose..)

It’s a risk, sure.
Mr 20 Chaplains? Put in touch with me by the store I was Looting anyway.
And we do keep tabs, as per group rules. If we catch people flipping in a scalping manner, it’s a permaban.
So far? We’ve had no more than two instances. And we’ve an admin shared across some of the larger trading groups.
Is it foolproof? No. But the good far outweighs the bad. Without us, every Chaplain, Ixion Hale, Anniversary Model et al in the second hand market would be scalper fodder, one way or the other.

I want these. In Japan are there any major chains that carry these? Do we have any idea of a time frame for release?

Places like BIC Camera and Yodabashi Camera for sure carry them and they're usually located in all the big shopping areas of most major cities.
Yellow Submarine is a bit more specialized but I recall them carrying GW stuff and they're in a lot of the major cities as well.
I wish Joshin stocked GW. We've at least got a couple in Niigata.

Im one of the other admins of the FB Loot group and a regular UK event looter with over 10 events looted so far and receipts that would make scalpers cry for losing mass profits , i dont blame you for your outlook on the group and in someway i agree with you(sometimes i live up to my names meaning, its Tom) if people are ordering 2 of the same item my spider sense starts to tingle but with duel builds etc ordering 2 can be fine and those ordering more than 2 really set my spider senses off, as in the 20 chaplain guy and a guy i helped get 4 B/day minis but without hard evidence we have to give them the benefit of doubt, but we do pay attention to their future purchases in the group, tbh most people only order 1 mini
Known scalpers and bad traders are kept out of the group as best we can, as like what Mad Doc has said the other admins are also admins of a couple of the big warhammer trading groups, who also converse with other trading groups admin, so we have a nice list of bad traders etc.
The group isnt setup perfectly but id certainly wager a quid or two we have helped far more people avoid being scalped than helping the scalpers themselves and i certainly rather have the group than not and go back to paying scalpers prices!
Back on topic, these DG minis look great and i hope to get them all, might have to tap up the groups Japanese looter, as what is the time from Japan release to UK release 12 months!?

Also do we know what they work out compared to UK prices?
Ignoring shipping of course as that’ll vary on numbers.
I wasn’t ever tempted by the first, as it seemed too much for a squad of marines (though if one had been particularly cool a single purchase or two would have been good).
These may do it though.
Also, the time between series one (and possibly two, depending on that gap) may not be a good judge of time.
I’m pretty sure when the first we’re done it was never with Uk in mind, as Japan gets loads of collectibles and blinds that I think would sell well in the west these days, but don’t always make it over..

Series 1 was apparently released September 2017 in Japan,
and the partial release (9/12) apparently arrived in November 2018 (did the USA only box game with the rest happen earlier or later? my memory is hazy, I know the game announcement was earlier)

Ok, so 14 months then for the first. Apparently
What about season twos dates, was it less between perhaps? That helps my theory
Also, I don’t think I even saw this US only thing..

Pretty sure Labyrinth of the Necrons was August 2018 Automatically Appended Next Post: Has anyone ordered the series 1 reissue box of 12? Does it seem like you get usually all 9 marines in there?
