On youtube I mostly watch:
The Act Man, he does good video game reviews, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7WDD6yHgzdqijHluCi1z-Q
Bruva Alfabusa, needs no introduction, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmiWoT3mqQMLFP9Hg420dsg
Arch, i mostly watch his lore videos, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChS9wazLlTUHSTeKVG39hZw
A few commentary channels, but that stuff is often political
Commissar Gamza, the live streams and Could They Survive videos were interesting, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLVAZkz0cydrnWbQqSg0Exw
MxR Plays, which despite the name and front page videos is mostly a meme review channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsHaCORAuXxrMDzC0hr8GPw

There's about 20 others including Astartes, Internet Historian etc. etc. but I don't watch that stuff too much.

Thread necromancy, but oh well, I watched a One Piece YouTuber who reminded me of this and well...I love this channel, one of my favourite Abridged series so far. If it could be said to be one as it's...Insane, so insane I wonder how many different drugs PurpleEyesWTF is on when he writes and voices each episode and that he's also seen Cthulhu and he's been driven irreversibly insane by it, but in the best. Possible. Way. lol.

One of my favourite jokes.

Found TierZoo last night, and it’s rather good.

It basically explains evolutionary perks and that by treating it as a compute game, and ranking creatures in a given period accordingly.

Plenty to enjoy overall, and I do wonder if it might be the very dab to help a younger person get a base understanding of that field of science.

Cafe de Anatolia is my current fave for chillout / while-working music.

Astrum does videos on space, astronomy and planets with really great presentation and infectious enthusiasm.

Wrestling With Wregret is another wrestling channel I've gotten into--great presentation, and a brilliantly dry sense of humour.

I'll second Wrestling with Wregret. Brian is a great host and his videos are always entertaining. For other wrestling content on youtube I'll also throw out partsFUNknown, especially their Quizzlemania videos.

Mild threadomancy, but only to prevent a duplicate.

Recently got into my woodwork videos on YouTube, mostly upcyclying stuff into other, nicer stuff.

This one is quite something!

Nothing I’d ever be able to do (lack of work space, danger to myself etc), but if I ever win the Lottery, I’d definitely be founding a community space for peeps to use. Just hire a couple of qualified carpenters/electricians etc, and let people hire it out. Definitely offer parent & child / Dads and Lads session over a weekend. Let people get creative without having to shell out loads for power tools. Reckon it could prove popular!

Civvie11 - for dryly humourous video game essays on retro games (mostly FPSes) ranging from classics to funny-bad trash like this:

We Hate Movies - not YouTube exclusive but they have full podcast episodes on there, not really reviews, more using films as a jumping-off point for comedy.

Mandalore Gaming - Another video game review channel, he's got that mellow kind of delivery that's nice to chill to, lots of Warhammer content, and occasionally long videos on funny and weird point-and-click adventure games like this classic:

Lately I've been enjoying two related channels, Fascinating Horror and Dark History, for their short documentaries of various disasters that have happened over the years. I discovered Fascinating Horror with their video about the sinking of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald, and after watching a bunch of other videos of theirs Youtube recommended some of Dark History's videos, some of which covered the same things as FH's. It's really interesting how many safety regulations and things came about because of some terrible tragedy that could have been avoided had such things existed already.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

Bad Movie Bible.

Discovered this channel last night, and I’m hooked. Particularly the Borrowed Blockbuster series.

Good source of film for my watch list. Plus, I can’t shake the feeling I may have met the chap behind it. Or someone who looks identical. But I can’t think who!

Currently on my subscribed list in no particular order...

Perun - because I really want to work at home
Task and Purpose - Gods I should get a life away from work
The Tank Museum - well the above, but tanks are cool (and the guys speaking are mostly civil servants, their head is a grade 7)
Forgotten Weapons - not interesting is serial numbers or seeing someone fire a gun, but the politics, demands and decisions around production are fascinating and I realise somewhat work related
InRange - well not so much now as the content has dropped off and become more firearms mechanics centric
The Chieftan - There is a theme here
Matt Green Comedy - yay, fun. Though technically work satire I guess. Not as good as the two Johns of course
Lindybeige - Fun history and other stuff
Wisecrack - sometimes good
Saisha Hayes - I am contractually obliged to promote her
Veritasium - also fun info stuff

Plus I erratically watch honest trailers
