Subject: New Raging Heroes releases "Machines of Prodigy " (Penitant engines of Hawtness?)
Should have just doubled down on the saw arm IMO, but I suppose RH wanted them to be able to dreadnought as well. Do prefer to the Dub engine all the same, much better presence on these than the new stubby engine.
Bumping this to the top, as subscribers to their newsletter are getting early access to their black Friday sales now. There's still some metals left for those interested.
Decided to order Doctor von X (teacup yo!), Irina Vega and Heleria Drakenfeld, never know when they might come in handy.

They're doing a Boxing day sale right now: 50% off all TGG1 metals and buy two, get one more for free with the following code: Buy2get1moreBoxDay which works on just about anything, so if peeps still need to build an army, now's the time.
Code also works on discounted metals, awesome!

More Raging heroes you say? Well have I got a deal for you. Hot skull nuns on bikes of DEEEETH!!!!
My fave being "Evita Death" cause the use the evil dead font for her name and I'm a Bruce Campbell fan boy.

Every now and then I take a browse on their site to see if I can snag minis to use in Rangers of Shadowdeep, Frostgrave or Necromunda and it hits me on how over the top the posing is. Far too dramatic for my tastes.

Not that there's a specific analog for Chaos Marauder archers (although I guess there should be) but cool none the less. Hopefully they ship them soon....
I got the witch already. I like her. The renders made her look a lot worse than she actually was to put together. I put it on Youtube if anyone cares.
I want to see them try a more heavily armored Blood Tribe now. Need some sort of Iron Golem styled warband!
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
Since we're covering pateron releases. Raging Heroes just told Artisian guild and Titan Forge to hold their beer. If you're a fan of fey or wood elves this is pretty bonkers for $10 fir the size of some of these.
Even the cheap ones (sub $300) can do 25nm I believe so that should be more then adequate. Mine can go down to 10nm but I believe I need a more expensive resin, $40 vs $15 for 500ml, for that resolution.

I've been getting decent quality 28mm figs on a Ender3 FDM printer. Plus they just went on sale today for $179. 0r $209 for the Ender3 Pro. So worth it for terrain, but can get nice results for tabletop figs as well. Sure resin will be much better, but cost and speed wise the Ender3 cannot be beat.

I wouldn't count Titan Forge out for the month of July just yet, what with their giant colossus and multiple types of evil dwarfs... plus they're starting their scifi patreon.
But man do those Fairy royalty look like something out of Olivier Ledroit's Wika comics! That's an impressive feat- plus I want to see more stuff based on Ledroit's designs as the guy is wildly creative.
Ten bucks for access to all that is a good deal. I'll be printing those blade dancers at the very least.

While I am biased, I really hate the Ender3 I have at work, even for terrain at $15 for 500ml and $250 for a printer the quality isn't really debatable I think. $50 more (over the pro) for like 5x the resolution (10x at 25nm) is really a good price. Speed though. if you're just talking print time resin is way faster then FDM as it prints everything on the plate at the exact same time. Cure time though does add a lot more. Simpler and less messy I'd agree on.
FDM is still great (I have two and use them regularly) but it's not as binary as the choice was just a year ago before the huge price drop on SLA printers.

I unbacked Titan forge each time the dwarves have come up -- they just don't do anything for me. Probably won't get these as they're not something I'm super interested in either but they are very impressive while the dwarves I just see and go Meh. It's taste for sure but Titan forge right now isn't really doing things that stand out as unrealistic to mold up and sell in cast resin as opposed to these being something you'd never make money selling if you did that.

I mean... the renders are very impressive, but... have they even tried to print them? Plus, while big and fancy, I'm not sure I want to go resin or a thousand hours for fdm (what with printing and support removal) to get the kind of gigantic models I'm already not buying from GW because they are so damn awkward in play.
I guess they're ok as display pieces, though, or maybe if you print them at 200-300% or something to have a nice statuette.

Well she is a wood elf because she can't fit into any building . Those wings are, what, 5 times the size of her body?
It's pretty ridiculous, but the most awesome minis generally are .

In fairness wings that size would be more realistic - the reason we don't tend to see them is mostly because it gets huge beyond measure for most to actually fit wings like that into a game case to play

that is definitely an interesting mini but my mind is having some trouble making sense of it. I like the big wings but why so many additional sets of wings behind the first set? What is the giant ultramarine symbol representing? A magic halo or something? Horns? What is all that under her attaching to the base? Robes? Waves of energy/magic? Jets of air farting out of her backside allowing her to hover in place?
