I love the army shots - the way the scheme translates to all sizes of models is just great, and as others have said, they look so terrifying when together!

Thanks for sharing

Just discovered this thread. Blew my mind. Absolutely deserves every compliment. I agree with others that this is the best painted Nid army, ever.
You should make a tiny Sponge Bob fleeing in terror to go on one of those beach bases.....

Those ships do have an "aquatic creature" look, so the crab pattern works quite well.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

That’s a great scheme. The dots look amazingly consistent and the layering of the cream back over the darker colours is brilliant. Nice work.

Truly inspirational work. This color scheme has almost certainly convinced me to finally spend the money to get new Tyranid models, something I said I would not do. I may not play 40k anymore but Karkinos would make excellent creatures in my other projects, Fantasy and Sci-fi.

Now to track down half a Leviathan box. And I will need to figure out how to make some of those amazing bioships of my own. Perfect for Full Thrust.

Outstanding!
