I have eleven dragons on their way soon.

Painted sample from Facebook. Hopefully they find a clever way to hide the clips where the trim pieces won’t fit. plasti card/strips would do the job but the less work the better.

KS preview has been updated as well you can swap the townsfolk for 1 room instead the trim pieces have doubled from 3 to 6 per room.

It would go a long way if you just colored them the same as the material around them

I bet it won't be a problem to get them to make half width clips for these edge cases of interior galleries.

OMG guys I just remembered I still have close to 20 sprues of Rampart 2 stretch goals to clip. How bad would it suck to still have that on the pile of shame when D&L2 got here!

Seems to me there's quite a bit of value in this for anyone who wants an urban setting for any fantasy game.

Did anyone here get any Rampart Cobalt theme? I clipped everything ages ago and now I'm mid assembly and I seem to have an ungodly amount of extra short column halves for some reason and I can't find sprue pics online to check why.

I also remember I got a number of partial sprues for my Kazumi as otherwise they'd have been short of something for what they'd promised on ks (can't remember what, clips may be?),

but clearly clipping sprues apart takes time and manpower and if cobalt had the same parts breakdown issues they may have decided it was easier to just give full sprues meaning it's not impossible that you will be left with a bunch of spare stuff from them

Thanks, that's the same as the listing on the KS page and does have this

24x Half-Columns – tall and regular

but I think this just means the corresponding halves for the 24 actual walls especially as it mentions both tall and regular but I only have spare regulars and while tere's a lot, there's not 24 spares per set (have 3 sets). As you say, there were probably extras on the plug sprue or something. For Kazumi I seem to have a ridiculous amount of spare plugs and floor clamps.

Is the KS actually up yet?

It might be worth starting a new thread for the new KS. Esp since this thread will get confusing talking about them both at once as soon as products start shipping and arriving

We can keep this one for D&L 2 updates on that note I got a shipping notification for wave 2 which should arrive this Thursday, they are using Fedex this time.

Ahh not heard from them yet, though I know there's a lot of orders to get through so no panic. Plus with brexit it wouldn't surprise me if the UK parcels get snarled up in all that for a bit.

No notice for me yet but I did manage to at least clip all the previous stuff, and I assembled the giant boiler from Rampart 2. Lovely kit even if there are some gaps.

I've clipped a fantasy core box worth for a project that got sidelined for a while. I still have 3 more core boxes but I might save it all up to mix with Woodhaven, use the fantasy walls for the lower parts of buildings so as to make the new rooms go further. I may set up some of the doors to use with Cursed City to replace card tokens I just need to make some bases for them to clip into.

I'm still due 2 Cursed Cathedral (keeping these to make a church), 2 Dwarven mines, 2 Stretch Goals and 2 Dragons. The stretch goals got so big they come in 3 boxes. They will be showing them on this Thursdays livestream.

10 sprues of stretch goals, right? I got 4 packs... along with the big dragon pledge, I think I got doubles of the zombie one as it's more useful for wargames and dropped the lightning one. Oh and 2 sets of D&L1 stretch goals, which I skipped previously. If these weren't the same price as D&L2 SG for half the amount, I'd get 4 too.

My hands are gonna bleed.

It’s taken me the better part of 2 days to assembled just the Fantasy themed part of 2 stretch goal sets. There are 2 fantasy bridges in a SG set due to a tooling error 1 with connector tabs/holes and 1 without them. Each set also had 2 of the last sprue I posted above. Everything goes together really well other than the rack which is cast to thin and breaks easily.

If it remains $20 in D&L 3 I’ll definitely get a 3rd set.

I’ve put the sci-fi parts to 1 side for now most of box 2 is sci-fi. I did assembled the holograms to see how they looked and it’s a very clever design.

Doors sold separately. Kinda irritating that the door sets assume you've bought each of the rooms, but whatever. You can also buy more frames, but that starts defeating the purpose of these being inexpensive sets.

Still, overall a great value. Glad I minimize my pledges on KS that I didn't buy 2x of a particular room.

I can see why there was confusion. They only intended to supply the new parts in yellow to add to existing doors backers already had but most assumed that the full wall tile was included as well it was poorly communicated.

As a remedy they will supply STL files for the door frames - if you are backing this for physical product you probably aren't 3D printing or they will tool a new door frame sprue as an add on for D&L3 which will be available with rapid shipping.



I didn't get these so not really affected but it probably would have been cheaper just to refund or credit backers that got the door sets.

I'm sad. I got exactly 4 sets of SGs specifically for the dragon statue (right behind the beds in DaveC's pic) which looked t be 2x2" in the sketch and it got scaled down so much the skulls at its base are 1mm across.

That’s correct as best I can remember. Box 2 is all 5 Sci-Fi sprues ( with some fantasy or generic bits on them). The fantasy sprues are split over the other 2 boxes plus Woodhaven, the connectors, the hydra wall piece in light grey on its own and the dragon torches which are a partial sprue. They must have doubled fantasy sprue 4 to keep the content of that box similar to the other 2 ( by no of sprues)

The Pledge Manager for D&L 2 looks like it is still open - can you still order through it? Is this the only place to currently get Sci-Fi rooms and bits? As D&L KS 3 looks to be purely fantasy and Archon don’t have a web store that I know of..

Yea pretty sure you cen get any of the old stuff through old pledge managers.

My stuff arrived last week. I was so blown away by the quality and quantity I put in a late pledge same day. I have done this now for D&L1, D&L2 and Rampart.

I have been monitoring the pledge account on Gamefound every day since to check for signs my late pledge is being shipped. I should report that the pledge manager finally closed three days ago.

Cheer up. Four sets of stretcgoals means:

4x Origon the Denouncer. - Mah Jong has three dragon colours, chinese mythology has several more. Most dragons can be depicted the same just in different colours, unlike D&D dragons, so paint the four dragons in different colours. Make sure one is red, because even westerners recognise the red dragon and its symbol.

4x benches and tables and 8x stools. - A more reasonable number to fill a great hall scene.

11x beds - Yes four of the twelve are mimics but you can convert and fill them easily to make three saggy beds and one mimic. That is more than enough beds for an inn or barracks.

4x tiny dragons - Smaller than you expected but you can cut one or more from and assemble them separately to the dias perched on. There are servicable little wyrmlings for RPG's and small enough you dont need to detail them, just paint them four strong colours. Adventurers are more likely to encounter wyrmlings than other dragons and they could be encounter threats or plot mcguffins.

4x Vending machines - These are a godsend for cyberpunk/SF gamers. I converted the vending machine mimics in the useless and wasteful Companions boxset into regular broken vending machines. I would be happy for four more. Vending machines don't look out of place in a wide variety of public places. They are big enough to stop bullets, heavy enough to block doorways yet 'portable' enough to be hurled by force users and adventurers with cyberstrength. If you are not strong enough to use one as a weapon you can still topple them and use them for hard cover or to block a doorway or throughfare.

There are many many others things you will do well to have at least one of. Furnishing starship bridges, torture chambers, royal halls for living or dead kings, assorted palace or dungeon add ons etc etc. And the bitz, these sets are a treasure trove of bitz. I want a saddle for my star dragon, the dragon throne piece has me covered. There is a lot of useful base scatter for my Warhammer armies. It is nice to have more than one of something as there are a lot of useful somethings.

Don't forget that this means you can separate out a lot of the bitz for your friends. You might not want four thrones, but you would be wise to bitz at least one, and can give away/trade the rest.

Rampart had better 'spammables' items that it was worth getting in large numbers like basic furniture, there is somewhat less of that in this set, but its strong on good solid accessories.

My second order arrived today, just packed the boxes away for 'distribution'.
