For the update on the Large Wooden Badger, please see my World Eaters thread!

OK, so I'm just about there on the Female Military Leader!

List of things to finish:
Collar.
Crux on the book.
Add details and small hoses to the power box on the back of her belt.
Add a pistol handle to the holster.
I also need to add some GS to the underside of her coat so that the coat isn't too thin.

So, all in all, she's coming along quite nicely.

Any additional comments? Critiques?

Some of the tings that have been suggested but not implemented were not ignored, just simply not what the client wanted. Thanks for looking!

Thanks Capitansolstice!

@ Chemical Cutthroat - Thanks, I wanted to give the gloves the "mechanical" feel? But, I don't want to over-do it. With those, and the small power box on the back, I think it should work.

this looks very good mate... the book and the gloves...i am rather eager to see how that power cell will turn out...

only thing i could now point out is that the upper arms look a bit thin...the elbows i don´t understand currently...are these some kind of bionics looking through or just not done yet?

but besides this shoows that you have made a very cool mini yet again mate!

Thanks Vik!

Yeah, looking at the pictures, the upper arms are a bit weedy. I guess at the bench, I am litteraly too close to see some of the details.

The elbows are just supposed to be cloth, but it looks odd. I'll have another look at it. Nice catch! Thanks!

Thanks Dave! Nothing to show at the moment, I ripped the holster off, I didn't like how it looked. I re-worked the elbows and added some bulk to the arms, and I have a basic shape of a crux on the book, but still no collar. Hopefully have something to show in a few days.

awwww... i liked the holster specially... there was a nice curved part on the flap... that looked very authentic...maybe if you make it longer and a bit thinner...then it would look perfect...

Frenzied Berserker Terminator

Everett, WA

Yep, longer and thinner, was the plan Vik!

Thanks though, I'll try to keep the details similar, and the little flap, did you mean the part the pistol grips would rest on? I liked that part too, I'll try to keep that.

Yeah, I'd make the butt of the pistol grip exposed more.

Well, I re-did the holster! I am very pleased with it now. I also finished the crux on the book, the power pack on the belt and added the collar to her coat. So...I guess I'm done!

Just some cleaning up to do, and I'll be sending her off to be cast! Yay!

So, let me know what you think! Anything else I need to do?

Now I can concentrate on the Steampunk Female in Power Armor!

Oh, and the Steam-Powered Walker in my World Eater's Thread!

Thanks for looking!

Now I can concentrate on the Steampunk Female in Power Armor!
darn... how can i now comment on something that might keep yoou longer away from that now...darn...

one thing i have to add... the mini is pure eyecandy...
the crux looks good...tho a tad halloween mask to me...(might be due to angle of the pics...)

what pistol will she be wielding? something remotly in scale with a B-Pistol? if so i would have wanted the hoster to hold a weapon with a bit longer barrel...but that is just personel taste of me... for me it seems a bit like a lady like gun inside the holster...

the powercell looks very good... gives a very star wars feeling to me...dunno why exactly but that´s how good i think it looks

the arms are also not really finished?
the right arm needs some definition on the upper arm still...can´t really say what exactly...

the shoulder pip and the left upper arm also dont fit together that well?

i only point out these things before you go down to casting town with her... i think you want to hear some bad things from me from time to time^^...beside i just gave high praise to your walker work^^

I can always count on you Vik to point out things that will make more work for me now. But less down the road! You have a very keen eye, and I appreciate your observations! Now I need to print out these pics and circle the spots you pointed out so I can fix them! Thanks Vik!

If you are ever in the states, well, Montana to be specific, I will buy you that Steak and a Pint! I have the perfect place in mind too!

sounds very good... but as i stated in my thread... i have turned down every chance i had to fly for now... i think i would get hysterics in a plane...

if i think i can´t describe it i will even make a small mspaint point out^^

but this time i thinhk i made myself understandable^^

and yep... if it would be quick and easy... where would be the fun in it^^

Well, they do have cruises to the states! Just stay away from the Italian cruise lines!

I did forget to answer a few of your questions though Vik. The arms do need some definition, And I hadn't noticed the left pauldron, I'll work on that. The book and crux has a very tiny skull in the middle. I guess it didn't turn out. I could hardly see it. I may take that off and just add a jewel of some sort. That is what I had planned, and then I thought a skull would be neat. We'll see. I may try another skull, just better.

The pistol is small, probably about the right scale for a las pistol, maybe a "Lady Las" for the lass on the go.

Thanks on the powere cell, I had a Star Wars storm trooper in mind when I sculpted it.

I should have these items sorted out by morning! Thanks again Vik!

yep...stromtooper powerpack all right!!! by the way... something a good idea for a seperate project just there... some small power suplies for the lighter packed stormtooper platoon...just a thought

lady lass LOL...

gem or skull will all look good... either way... tho i would prefer the gem idea... heck it could even then glow when painted...

and yep... if so i would not use any italians all right^^ wouldn´t want to make my last apearance in world wide news^^

I'll look into the backpack idea! I have been looking for ideas for backpacks for a while now. Maybe I could just "steampunk-ify" one, and see if that looks good!

I made changes to the Female Military Leader last night, I took pictures, but they got corrupted somehow, and they didn't download properly, and they are no longer on the camera. I was not happy about that, but then I remembered that I brought her with me today, and the camera...so I just took some more pics! Duh!

Notice the gem on the book cover instead of the mishapen skull, the better transition from sleeve to the pauldron on the left arm, the added cloth detail on the right arm, and the better clasp on the holster. I hope it stands up to "Inspektor Vik", because I am sending it out today!

Thanks for looking.
