Has anyone used or even heard of Maimeri Polycolor acrylic paint? Its a real pain in the arse to find model paint out here in Romania and it takes 2 weeks for any delivery from the US, so I'm trying to find something local.

They've got Polycolor here and its relatively inexpensive and the shopkeeper swears up and down I can use this on plastics and metals, but I'm not in the mood to waste my money.

Thanks

i'm not sure of the name it sounds familiar, maybe it's under a different name in the u.s. my advise is get a good primer & a good matte clear finish for a top coat . i can relate to your situation i have bought many things to save money & had to spend more money just to make it work . but with paint i have gotten lucky most of the time it's just a matter of thinning & experimenting to get the results you want . GOOD LUCK !!
