Well. I am impressed by most of the miniatures, without at all wanting to collect any.

What I want to know is, when you play, will you get to have long disquisitions about the angst you are feeling? Will your pride force you to ignore the people who want to help you? Will you end up as mortal enemies of another player, who shares the same goals and aspirations as you, simply because of a silly misunderstanding at your first meeting?

These are not prepainted, they are actually pretty nice. This whole RPG/mini/card game could get a bit crazy. We got some of the figs in the shop the other day just to check em out. The come in a thick card box sort of like a chest, some attached ribbon is used to hold the box together. The light side starter comes with 2 figs a armored knight/paladin looking alot like a warmaichine cygnar knight, and a very anime style female cleric in a trech coat and big manga boots. All and all quite good, I only saw one of the dark side figs a very "witchblade" inspired looking female model very nice all execpt her chest, way to high on her contorted rib cage and very nosecone-esk. Maybe with paint they wont look quite so out of place, sad really as the fig is very cool looking other wise. The rest of the box contains stat cards and tokens for the fig for the moni game. ( think confrontation cross with warmachine)

Nice stuff. Weabus crave their own versions of SOBs too! I know that my (ex-)friends who got a little too into anime will want these.

Haha, Fellblade. The good ol' typical anime "tragedy" story. The RPG vs. Minis vs. CCG battle will be funny. Reminds me of a somethingawful thing I read a while back:
Training was complete. Another stuffed foe, this one purple, lay at his feet leaking cotton. His fedora, comic book t-shirt, and tenuous beard all flapped slightly in the wind. His stoic contemplation shattered by a cry from another room, "Brian! Close your window, we're not warming the whole block!" "I'm really busy right now, Mom!" She could never understand him. No one could.

This is odd. I regularly check their artists webpage and I never knew that the rpg he was working on had a miniatures branch. I really hate flash sites though. The minis are really faithful to his art. Does it say anywhere what the scale is?

I think they're cool. I'm not that into anime, but the minis have style. I wonder if they'll catch on. A high percentage of geeks do love anime.

Moopy, I was half expecting to hear cheesy Japanese pop that you'd send to unsuspecting people.

I'm sure they are there, just hiding, waiting to make their move when you least expect it. Tentacle girl.

Some decent anime styled figs, though I'm not to wild about the site design. With everything else that's coming out now, it will be interesting to see how they do.

is that some Dark Angels?

The figures look alright. Who's the artist, is he American? Korean?

By the way, what happened to that sci-fi miniatures game that came out a while ago?

Hmmm, well, I found these today, so might as well post

Are those actual resin kits or the (much more likely) mad custom builds of even madder japanese modelers? Stuff like the original Mashinen Krieger models, which were all scratch built from existing kits (even the master models). I love that stuff, there are some really amazing designs out there using just the odds and ends from various kits and I really wish there was more of it.

Yep, them too, and plastic easter eggs, plastic cutlery (spoons!), and all sorts of other found stuff too. But mostly mashes from a huge range of kits in a variety of scales. Kow was (is!) one mad  crazy converter.

Oooh, so they are so they are!  Alas, this line squashes any hopes of one picking these up online: "<small>?I am sorry, it doesn't send it out to countries other than Japan.</small>" Ah, the only engrish on the site. Probably ran it through a free online translator at that. Darn cool, and makes me want to get back to doing some kitbashing of my own.

and it gets cooler with BADDITUDE

hmm, even if unavailable, it's a wealth of inspiration. Monocycles would look alright with Tau as an alternative their jetpackers. Or if you wanted to make the Imperium's vehicles more WWII than WWI
