If you listen carefully, it wasn't something he was told to "fix and wake up Roboute 10,000 years ago".

The exact quote is:
Ten millennia ago, I was set a task. One abandoned when the galaxy burned.

It was a task he was set to before Guilliman was put into stasis.

Whatever this "task" is? It's something the Emperor himself gave Cawl.

That is huge.

Mr Cawl make sure you have the snazzy new armour I designed ready for the boys mystical disappearing into the warp day.......

(Well making snazzy armour is boring, the boss man is distracted with going moldy in his private box and all the loyal kids have vanished, I can get on with the interesting stuff instead)

Since he "knew" how the Cadian devices worked, maybe he was supposed to use it to drain the warp. Could be that was how the big E ascends, or planned to ascend by swallowing all the souls that are lost to the warp. But the Magnus broke the feeding chair back on earth

It's Grey Knights. If you look carefully there's the trademark Sword down the centre of the helmet, and on the banner below it is their open book symbol.

It's interesting what the symbolism in I presume Guillimans face is about above the helmets.

One side golden and normal, but on the left the surface peeling off and revealing a red glowing eye.

The helmet on the left is presumably GK, since its DA, UM and GK in the Triumvirate, to the person asking above.

It looks more like a glare/twinkle coming from his eye to accentuate how the gloss covering the face is cracking, to represent Guilliman's awakening and resurrection. If glowing red eyes were a sign of heresy then there would be no red eye lenses for space marines and the Salamanders chapter would be screwed.

You should really read more into the context of things and fluff before going off on your tangent of questions again.

do you think Roboute will survive and live on, will this be a long term thing for GW or will his return be like that of Vulkan's in the War of the Beast, 1 and done type thing

Preeeetty sure it's long term, given that he has a model coming out. None of the previous triumvirate died, so that says something.

Guys, go watch the emperor had a text to speech device, or just Google him, and take a long look at the emperor's face. It's just an idea, but I think it might be pretty obvious what it might imply.

"There is a cancer eating at the Imperium. With each decade it advances deeper, leaving drained, dead worlds in its wake. This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose that functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bioengineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey."

Excellent trailer. Given the Eldar's involvement could Cawl task have something to do with the imperial webway project? It being the Emperor's most important project and most significant failure.

No, wroth.

But that's an adjective, so doesn't make sense, whereas wrath is a noun.

I don't think it's British per se, more just commonly ignored for wrath on both sides of the Atlantic.

I'm thinking, based on the imagery alongside the dialogue (wrath/wroth notwithstanding) if the task he was set was to create a suit of armor that would make the Primarchs.... I dunno, Uuber primarchs? SuperCenturion5000 armor?

Like a true Tomb King, change (to AoS) has left me bitter and vengeful.

When Cawl says "Allies have approached us in recent months, from quarters most unexpected", it shows Cypher (I think? Which we already knew would be "helping" out, of course) but it also shows Cypher is bringing along a few chaos marines with him.

Is that new?

Doesn't get much more unexpected than a few chaos marines helping the Imperium too (well, maybe it was slightly expected since Cypher is able to bring along his own Chosen in the rules, but not really).

Those would be Fallen, who much like the SW 13th co. have had to replace damaged gear with whatever is to hand, so mostly from dead CSM.

Seems more like a golden glow to me. The face is golden too and the emperor was described as having a golden psychic glow. And there is the prophecy of a golden character returning to save humanity, although that could be any number of people. I'm even still partial to lorgar.

Kinda/sorta.

The Fallen aren't a "group" in the sense that they have been spread all over the place. Some have joined Chaos warbands. Some follow Cypher around. Some have taken up hermitage on Imperial worlds, serving as a kind of watcher/guardian to the populace.

There's no hard and fast rule as to what the Fallen are, at least for the moment.

Pretty sure it'll be the week after - Saturday March 4th pre-order for release Saturday 11th March. Could be wrong but all the trailers so far have said March, and it fits the cheesey "March for Macragge" theme, lol. Also might be a total coincidence but March 15th is also the Ides of March, which kinda fits with the Ultramarines theme...... It's also the day the Roman Republic became the Roman Empire - one of the most important dates in history. Kinda fitting that a Primarch wakes up in the same week and realise the Imperium is not what it was meant to be. Can't see GW missing the significance of that.....

I mean, it could be preorders on the 4th, release on 11th...or it could be preorders this weekend and releasing on the 4th.
February is a short month. They basically are done with the Stormcast releases, missing just the Raptors. It would be weird for the month to end with just one thing as the preorder.

Being a suit of armour/life support, do you reckon the Big E asked Crawl to make this for him? Maybe knowing what was coming at the time of the Heresy. Maybe he even planned to get off the throne at some point? But now with everything going to pot, Crawl is using the suit to reboot Roboute (haha!) instead as he's the perfect candidate to hand being a primarch and everyone knows where he is (unlike the others). Might explain why he has one of the Big E's swords too.
