Plano, Texas

Hello to one and all,

On February 18th Hobbytown USA in Plano, TX will be starting a WARMACHINE league.
The league is an ideal way to get gamers together in a friendly area to compete against eachother, over a period of time.
Hobbytown USA in Plano has 6 gaming tables, ranging in sizes between 4'x6' and 4'x8' each, and has tons of great terrain to ensure your battles are interesting and fun!

The league will last for roughly two and a half months, starting at 350 points, ending at 750 points.
League entry costs $10, and will get you an additional 10% discount on of all WARMACHINE, Warhammer, and a 10% discount on Flames of War products.
That is a total of 20% off WARMACHINE and Warhammer! Just talk to Jeff or John about setting up a WARMACHINE order, and they'll get you setup.

The league does have some rules, but they aren't too harsh.
 - No baremetal minis. During the first two weeks of the league, we will offer a grace period, where *primed* models may be used.
After this time, all models must have atleast two colors on them.
 - No food or drink on the tables.
 - No abusing terrain. This means tossing or throwing pieces, or picking up tree patches by the foliage/branches.

Gaming can be done anytime, and as long as games are recorded in the league book, will count towards the player's league standings.
Best days for gaming however will be Saturdays (10am to 6pm), Sundays (12pm to 5pm), and Wednesday nights (5pm to 9pm).

The league kicks off at 350 points, Mangled Metal. However, this is Mangled Metal with a small twist. Mangled Metal normally means a Warcaster and Warjacks only,
but to spice things up and to fill in gaps, if a player has points to do so, he/she may include a single Solo model from their home faction. This means no Merc solos in a Khador/Menoth/Cygnar/Cryx force!

After about two weeks, we will increase the points level to 500, opening the floodgates and allowing multiple solos and infantry.
This points level will last for roughly 3 weeks.

And finally, we will increase to 750 points, which will of course include the Epic Warcasters. The 750 points level will last for about 4 weeks.

Once all games are recorded, we will have the finals.
The finals will have the top 8 players playing 3 total games in one day, with the first opponent pairings being completely random.
Further pairings will be based on who won/lost/drew previous games.
First, Second and Third places will recieve prizes, as well as a seperate prize for the best painted army.

Hobbytown USA is located in Plano, TX on Parker and Independence, in the north-east corner of the shopping center. Their phone number is 972-758-7875.
Stop by, check things out, introduce yourself, and have a good time! I hope to see you there!
